The property is located within minutes from the Waitomo Glowworm Caves and all the other attractions that this region offers. Ocean beach is 5 km away, where you can soak in Te Puia hot springs at low tide. Kawhia is known for its annual Kai festival on Waitangi weekend and whaleboat racing on New Year's day.
