The Hilly House, Private Boutique Accommodation

The Hilly House is a hillside property in the heart of the Whitehall district, surrounded by beautiful rural views. Very private. Outdoor baths for relaxing in peace, star gazing with a glass of wine or two. Our friendly and inquisitive llamas will come over to greet you, you can fine their pellets inside the house. There are many lovely walks nearby. Blue Springs in Putaruru, 40 mins. Sanctuary Mt Maungatautari, 35 mins and 10 mins from Lake Karapiro and Cambridge with amazing eateries.

Relax and unwind in our intimate studio by Lake Karapiro. Treetops studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting with lovely views over the treetops above Lake Karapiro. At the end of the drive(500m) is the Karapiro domain - enjoy a short walk to have a coffee at the Podium cafe or cycle/walk the Te Awa cycleway. We are 20mins from Hamilton airport and a great location to access local tourist attractions: Cambridge 10mins, Hobbiton 30mins, Rotorua 1hour, Waitomo caves 1 hour.

Country Stay with Mount Kakepuku Views

Breathe the fresh country air at this contemporary architecture retreat. On the outside, the home features a sleek industrial aesthetic and a private outdoor bath, while the inside bursts with a boutique design style, neutral greys, and wood accents. The country stay is located down a typical New Zealand country road. Surrounded by dairy farms and kiwi fruit orchards, guests may see farmers about their daily work. Sit in your private spa pool after a busy day and watch the sun go down and the stars in the evening, they are so clear.

Romantic night in a 'Hole in the Ground'

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Spend a night in a real 'Hole in the Ground' in the middle of the Waikato. Situated between my grapes and the Feijoa orchard. Comes with a nice breakfast with homemade bread and bacon and eggs (own chickens) and homemade jams. Only suited for one or 2 persons (pets only at prior approval, service animals are ok).
