Sharon and Chris were wonderful hosts and we had a beautiful and peaceful stay. The place was clean, warm and cozy, it became a home away from home, with beautiful views and well equipped amenities. The hospitality that our family received from Sharon and Chris was above and beyond our expectations, we felt welcomed and well attended to, and appreciated the handy info on local spots to see. My husband enjoyed his morning walk right from the front door and my two and a half year old son loved getting to know Kamal. We loved our stay and hope to be back there one day.

Stephen And Sue's place was perfect for my needs while attending a workshop just a few minutes away. Very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed including breakfast cereals and milk.

Amazing, breathtaking view. Best place for me and bridesmaids before went to my wedding at Don Rowland. The only downfall is that the dam was closed at the time, it would have been a 5 minute drive but had to go right around via motorway (20 min) but the house itself was well worth it! Had everything we needed and more!!! I would consider going again just for a normal weekend. The hosts were accommodating in every way, we had access to kayaks, best coffee machine, comfy couches and beds, clean showers, a nice bbq, beautiful flowers, awesome neighbours, parking for about 3 cars and extra blankets and towels. 10/10 from us!

Beautiful property. So close to the biking trails. Peaceful setting. Happy chirping birdies. Well cared for property with a bounty of flora to brighten your spirits.

Had my parents stay over for a few weeks and they really enjoyed the unit. The house was fully equipped and felt very homey. It's located right in the CBD, so getting to places was just a short walk or drive away. A couple of things to note: light sleepers might be affected by the vibrations from passing trains in the evening, as there’s a railway down the street. The house is also right by a fairly busy road, so you might hear some traffic noise throughout the day. Additionally, all the bathrooms are located upstairs, which could be inconvenient for those with mobility issues. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay—especially for longer visits.

The property is gorgeous & very well located for a trip to hobbiton! Mary and her family are the best! I would highly recommend opting for the home cooked meal for a wonderful meal made with fresh ingredients from the farm! We look forward to coming back!

This is my second stay here because I loved my first visit so much. The house is beautiful, accommodating and perfect for visiting Cambridge. Every little detail has been considered. Bedding is gorgeous and you’ll sleep well in comfortable beds. The gardens are a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Easy walk to town and Saturday markets. Yes I will stay again.

The property was beautifully renovated, ample space and extra linen/towels available. Was a great space for children to play outside and we felt very safe bring fully fenced and with the locked gates.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Your house was gorgeous and warm & welcoming which was just what we needed at the end of very long Fieldays days. We also absolutely loved have cat cuddles at the end of each day. Thanks again!

Beautiful location. Quiet and peaceful meant a great night sleep. The loft was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The only very slight negative was the driveway was a bit hard to find - but that was google maps fault. I talked to Liz about this and she now has a new link to help people find it. Highly recommend staying here.
