We had an amazing week at Jame’s house with our family. The house is beautifully designed with breathtaking views and close to everything you need on the island. The hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive and the house was as advertised - luxury beach house! We hope to return again soon.

Malcolm was incredibly easy to deal with and very accommodating. Gave us very clear instructions. The house was presented incredibly well. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again

Perfect spot for our family, had everything and more than we could have wanted traveling with small kids. The location was great given we were looking to be close to family out that way.

A beautiful house in a lovely location close to Sandy Bay. The house is very charming and a great place for a summer getaway.

Great views .. morning and night !! Clean and easy to maintain . Worked well for our group of 5 adults ... but would have liked a front secure lawn for the kids to play on.

Great location, There’s a lovely little track down to the beach from the end of the dirt track on which is the accommodation. Beautiful beautiful beach. :) Also, just a suggestion, it’s a good idea to ensure the windows are closed as so mosquitos may come to visit in the night if there’s able to.

Janet and Malcom is most welcoming host! The place is beautiful and homey and they make you feel like part of the family right away. They are always busy in and out but will let you know what’s going on and offer their help. If you love people, locally, you will be very delighted to meet them. They are wonderful with my 4 year old boy and very patience and offer toys and high chair. Highly recommended

Great place to stay , Great views can walk to beach . Nice eatery by beach . Bus Stop close by can catch going to all places very handy n cheap way to go around . Taxis are super expensive. Loved the spa in the room . Clean bed linen’s and bathroom was very clean too . Allowed late 1 hour checkout which was very helpful more time on island to relax and not rush in morning to leave the place . Chilliux the host was responsive when I texted for 1/2 hour extra but he allowed another 1/2 hour . So thank you . Definitely booking same place again

Great stay, Villa is one of the many villas within the resort grounds. We enjoyed using the pool and mini golf course. Clean and tidy and responsive host.

We really enjoyed our stay, we arrived after a long drive to find a property better than we had envisaged, as photos don't do it justice, it's even better. We also found muffins waiting for us which were appreciated by all thank you! There was plenty of space for us as a family with 2 small kids (6+9) and the access to toys/books after 3 weeks travelling around North Island were a hit. The Beach House was a lovely way to spend out final few days and Stanmore Bay is gorgeous. We definitely recommend!

We were delighted with the property, it met all our expectations, especially after a long flight from the UK. The close proximity to all facicilities and our family was just what we needed. The closeness to the beach was exceptional. The host was on hand to deal with any issues.

If you are looking for an elegant 100 year old beach cabin, this place is for you! The location right on the beach provides stunning sunsets & a very peaceful setting. If you are looking to do some of the nightlights of Coromandel (such as Hot water beach, cathedral cove hike, hike to new chums beach), you may want to consider staying on the east side of Coromandel. The roads to get to these places are over an hour of very windy roads! The outside washroom was ok during the day, but a bit of a pain at nighttime as the kitchen door was noisy to open and close. We loved the kayak and boogie board. It would’ve been nice to have a Nespresso machine or coffee maker instead of instant coffee or the press.

We had a great stay here. The location is very peaceful and perfect for kayaking when the tide is in. Also great for walks with the dogs; we got join the locals for a walk at 8:30. We were lucky with the weather and the quiet suited us very well. Also, the BBQ has a side panel which we used to cook food outside in a pan. Thanks for the stay - we had a restful time doing not a lot! :)
