There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Enjoy our unique accommodation in a beautiful location with a fantastic view. You can enjoy the peace, the water and the view here. Our floating chalet has a lot of glassware so that you retain the unobstructed view. You are close to Amsterdam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Enough activity in the area, so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet or seek out the hustle and bustle. There is a terrace and a floating balcony. There is also parking at the chalet.

Een gezellige en sfeervolle vakantiewoning op ons boerenerf. De woning is gebouwd in een voormalige schuur op een rustige plek, langs de dijk. Op het ruime erf is voldoende plek om buiten te zitten en van de rust, ruimte en natuur te genieten. De woning beschikt over een slaapkamer op de begane grond en een slaapkamer op de eerste verdieping. Met uitzicht op de dijk en daarachter de Gouwzee. Waar zomers in gezwommen kan worden. Medebewoners van de boerderij zijn onze kippen en schapen.

At the hart of Old-Holland lays Edam. Enjoy our appartement, right in the historic Town Center, direct at the cheese market. A direct bus connection brings you 24/7 at a high frequency to the Amsterdam Central station in 30 minutes to vist the town till late. Bicycles for rent available at the house, for a trip trough the country side of Holland. Visit the old fishermans villages Volendam and Marken. At the end of the day return to Edam and enjoy the local restaurants and your appartement

Ons gastenverblijf is van alle gemakken voorzien. Knus en warm is de vibe waar wij voor zijn gegaan. Door oude en nieuwe elementen in het huisje samen te laten komen voor een echt unieke Volendamse belevenis. Op 20 minuten van Amsterdam met openbaar vervoer.

Charming fisherman's cottage

In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
