Great 2-level apartment with terrific deck and beautiful view overlooking the river. Quiet and pretty. Owners were very responsive and the kitchen is very well stocked. Nice rustic touches and great running/walking trail along the river, just down the road. WiFi works well. Recommend upgrading the beds as they are small and not very comfortable. Otherwise a great property!

This is everything you could ask for and more. Shops and downtown life are within 30 minutes and you get the peace and quiet of a getaway without needing to go anywhere if you don’t want to. The hosts were great and the town is quaint. I highly recommend to any family who wants to relax, unwind, and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This was a lovely rental to stay in. We had 7 ladies, each had their own space/privacy, and it was really nice. We liked the spaces to gather, but I could see it being perfect for large groups that might need to have time to themselves as well (families). Everything was clean, and as described, and Jay was incredibly responsive. Easy to walk to downtown Newcastle/Damariscotta, on sidewalks. Beautiful views, wonderful house, and absolutely worth a return visit to this rental.

Three girlfriends and I stayed at Hillside for a week. The setting and location were absolutely beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful and I loved walking the trail. The house was roomy and comfortable. We highly recommend!!

If you’re looking to stay in Bar Harbor, this is the place! We felt very at home during our 1 week stay and walking to and from downtown Bar Harbor was easy and accessible. The house is also a 8 minute walk to the nearest grocery store so cooking your own home made meal was simple. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and would stay here again!

Super comfortable condo, exactly as described. Marigny is responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend booking this Airbnb. It is close to town and very close to Whaleback Midden an easy and worthwhile walk from the condo.

Della’s place exceeded our expectations. The photos could not possibly convey how warm, welcoming, and cozy was the property. She very generously truly lives the mi casa es su casa phrase. The five of us made ourselves at home and we each had plenty of room for our personal space. Blue Hill is just lovely but it was toasty during our stay. We LOVED having access to the pool and Della’s home was deliciously cool with AC in every room. Thank you Della. We hope to return.

This is the second time that we stayed at Allen's place, and we have already booked a stay for 2025. The condo is clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is located in a great location to explore the coast, head north one day, and south the next, etc. It is quiet and secure and Allen and Cheryl are quick to answer questions. I can't recommend their place highly enough!!

Laurie was super communicative and the condo was GREAT! Had view of water, was clean and lots of space. Lots to do on the property with kids /teens: basketball court, volleyball, tennis, golf and more. The weather was not terrific, but between the heated pool, the activities and the closeness to Camden, there was lots to do.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.
