Loved this house! So cozy and comfortable and hanging out by the creek was so beautiful.

My husband, daughter and I, along with my friend and her family had a beautiful stay. The home is soacious, peaceful and gas everything you need. John was very responsive, we're low maintenance travelers so we didnt need much. The hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived. We used the oven toasters, the kitchen was filled with housewares. If you're into yoga/mind body connection there's lots of books to read and relax. We played cornhole outside. John had firewood reasy. The fire place is beautiful and easy to use. Locally we ebjoyed The Outpost, Fox and Hare Brewery, The Eldred. I can go on and on.

This place is amazingggg. Such a perfect experience. I’m so glad I came here. I love it so much I ended up saying two extra days. I wanna keep it all to myself. I don’t even wanna tell you guys about it. 😂 this place really is as perfect as it looks. The beds are so comfortable, the view is amazing. The sounds are amazing. Everything is high quality. Heated floor and seat in bathroom. It’s so peaceful and private. There’s a Japanese style hot tub in the backyard that overlooks the river. And string lights thru the back yard. I love it SO much. Everything here is so intentional. Jenny did an amazing job with this place. And Jenny is so chill and fun. I don’t wanna Airbnb anywhere else - this place has ruined it for all other places 😂

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

Perfect weekend getaway! Great location, about 10 min from restaurants and 20 min from Promise Land State Park. Super cozy and great layout for our toddler to be a little freak. Definitely will stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, the place had everything you could need. Very spacious and pictures dont do justice. Melissa was very nice and had very good communication. You can tell she has put alot of thought and care into this home to ensure people have a great stay. Everything is in tiptop shape. A quiet and pleasant community! We went to the grand reopening at Top of the world restaurant in the community, which had a great band playing, great food and nice atmosphere. We hope to go back soon and enjoy this great spot again. Thank you for having us!

The place was cute and cozy, and the surroundings were beautiful. We had an awesome stay here where we could get away from the world and enjoy some quality time. We took a small hike into the woods, took the boat out, and enjoyed nature. The hot tub was perfect for 2, the bed is cozy and we enjoyed the fire pit. There was a bald eagle perched outside in a tree, right outside of the cabin every day to top it off. Looking forward to our next stay here.

We have stayed here a few times before.Always a pleasurable experience. It just fits our lifestyle.

Great place for those like us who love peace and quiet. It’s definitely the private escape we needed! Please take a moment to read Nicole’s directions in terms of getting around / staying there since you are in the woods. The detail was very helpful for us in enjoying our time and getting around. Plus she has an awesome book collection!

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

We felt right at home. We loved the LOTR touches. I read one of the books in her library when I was there.

Excellent stay for a small group - we only stayed for a weekend, but would be a perfect spot for a weeklong trip as well.

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. Loved our stay and hope to come back. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed exploring all of the trails accessible right from the back door. Kitchen and bathroom are phenomenal. Bed is extremely comfortable. And Adam was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. 10/10

This was a fantastic location. When I got out of the car and heard the sound of the river across the street I knew we had picked the right place. Carrie was super helpful and responsive, providing clear checkin instructions and notes about the many amenities the property has to offer. Everyone in the group had a great time and we will all be keeping it in mind the next time we are looking for somewhere to get away to!

This cabin was very cozy and the surrounding area was very scenic and pretty, as well as quiet and peaceful. Kerri allowed my group of friends to shoot our short film outside the house, and it was a great location for filming as well as a great place for some of the crew members to stay overnight and hangout after shoot. We didn't have much free time but we were provided with lots of recommendations of places to checkout nearby and I'd love to maybe rent the place again sometime to explore the scenery. The neighbors were friendly and Kerri gave us very clear and useful information about the house to make our stay easy.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!
