This place is so nice and peaceful...it's almost spa-like with the hot tub and sauna all to yourself! It's an awesome place to get away from the city(in just a couple of hours) and have complete relaxation! its super clean, and the host was so friendly! Will definitely try and come back!

My husband, daughter and I, along with my friend and her family had a beautiful stay. The home is soacious, peaceful and gas everything you need. John was very responsive, we're low maintenance travelers so we didnt need much. The hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived. We used the oven toasters, the kitchen was filled with housewares. If you're into yoga/mind body connection there's lots of books to read and relax. We played cornhole outside. John had firewood reasy. The fire place is beautiful and easy to use. Locally we ebjoyed The Outpost, Fox and Hare Brewery, The Eldred. I can go on and on.

This A-frame escape was exactly what I needed — the perfect break from the city. The place is beautifully designed, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches. The jacuzzi was absolutely incredible, especially under the stars at night, and the A-frame structure made the whole stay feel like a peaceful retreat.

Really a wonderful spot. If you care about design and decor, you’ll love it. Very well thought out details throughout the cabin. Had everything you’d want. The amenities on the property (hot tub, sauna, hammock etc) were so great to have and really added to the relaxing evening experience. Communication was insanely prompt every time, and Meng had excellent local recommendations. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Loved this place.

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a great time! Wanted to camp, it didn’t want the hassle. This was perfect for hanging out at the fire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, but had the bonus of a hot tub and comfy indoor space.

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Great place to stay and forget about the rest of the world’s problems! Quiet and comfortable, had one question about smoking on the screen porch and Dylan responded immediately. Definitely will repeat next April for our annual hiking trip.

Amazing host with a beautiful cabin. Very clean and comfortable. Garth was also extremely punctual and professional. Highly recommend this cabin! You’d love it!

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your beautiful home.

After long drives, need a nice, clean, quit, comfy place to crash. Rustic Retreat was all that and more.

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

We felt right at home. We loved the LOTR touches. I read one of the books in her library when I was there.

Excellent stay for a small group - we only stayed for a weekend, but would be a perfect spot for a weeklong trip as well.

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Great place to stay at. Place was well maintained. The area was a bit strange but what we saw in the photos is what we got. Bedroom was lovely and the kitchen adds bonus points. . I loved the fire pit. The best part was you only had to drive 10-15 minutes to the mountains which where you can find spontaneous views. The stay was great, would recommend.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

This was a fantastic location. When I got out of the car and heard the sound of the river across the street I knew we had picked the right place. Carrie was super helpful and responsive, providing clear checkin instructions and notes about the many amenities the property has to offer. Everyone in the group had a great time and we will all be keeping it in mind the next time we are looking for somewhere to get away to!

Our stay at David’s cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making it the perfect getaway. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. David was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us unlimited firewood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Definitely recommend Erica’s cabin if you are looking for some peaceful time around nature! It was the perfect escape from the city. I also enjoyed going for a swim at the lake.

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!
