Amazing place and a great host :)

Had a really nice stay here on our last night in Iceland. I was very glad to find this place that would accommodate my family of 8 in this rural setting. Wanted to stay close to the national park, and there were not many options other than this. The place was better than I was expecting/pics led on. I was worried we would be cramped, but that was not the case. Other than one of the bedrooms, plenty of space. On that bedroom, I knew going in it would be tight based on pics. In spite of being a bit cramped, not a big deal. Slept fine in that room, and everyone in general slept fine. Main floor was roomier than i thought. Plenty of room in kitchen and other rooms for all. Kids loved the place. Not too far from murals and ocean. Only issue i had was no shampoo in the place. No idea if I knew that before and forgot or should have known it, but it surprised me. Not a big deal. I did not inquire about it either as I was in a hurry. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nous avons passé deux nuit dans le logement proposé par Eyglo. C'est un logement propre et cosy. On a le sentiment d'être seuls au monde avec un paysage magnifique entre ocean et montagne. Sa situation permet de visiter la péninsule de Snaefellness.

This place was a dream. Having stayed at dozens of AirBnBs in Iceland, this is in our top! It was tranquil and Elisabet and Rosa were communicative and it’s clear they take pride in their home. It was beautiful, and there were amenities that made traveling with an infant smooth and comfortable for us. There were so many thoughtful touches and it was squeaky clean. We saw the aurora two out of three nights which was nothing short of magical. It was the ideal stay in a beautiful place!

We enjoyed our stay: the cabin had one of the best equipped kitchens we came across during our trip. The cabin felt very private, and the directions to get there were clear and Google Maps navigation found it without issue. The views were spectacular, and we were very lucky with clear skies and bright auroras both nights. We would definetly stay here again.

Sehr gute und hochwertige Ausstattung der Küche. Man könnte richtig kochen und backen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben uns überzeugt. Tolle Lage, wir konnten am 20.4. Polarlichter beobachten. Einzig die immer wieder auftretenden Geräusche, die wir auf Heizung- und Warmwasserbezug, zurückzuführen, waren störend.

Beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped, with stunning views and complete privacy. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat, but in winter, a 4x4 is a must due to snowdrifts and challenging access. Despite that, everything about the stay was perfect, and we would highly recommend it!

Die Unterkunft war sehr einfach zu finden und liegt traumhauft alleine. Die Aussicht auf den Fjord ist super schön: sich morgens dort mit einem Kaffee hinzusetzen und Wale zu beobachten war schon ein echtes Highlight im Urlaub! ❤ Hrafn ist zudem ein supernetter Gastgeber mit einer schnellen, hilfreichen und unkomplizierten Kommunikation. 😊
