Beautiful KVI Beach is a short walk, through a tree-lined neighborhood, from my cozy sunlit home. A 10-minute drive brings you to a new Center for the Arts, several individually-owned art galleries, two grocery stories, and a variety of regionally-recognized and locally-loved restaurants. My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The Cabin Vibes at Old Pine can’t be captured in photos. Our family’s humble waterfront cabin is the perfect getaway. Walk to Tolmie State Park, enjoy magical views of Puget Sound, and only 15 minutes from downtown Olympia. You’ll love the coziness, trees, comfy beds, views, and of course the legendary outdoor clawfoot bathtub. Cute Beach Cottage

A no-frills cabin feel at a rustic house on the Salish Sea w/ private beach. Park and walk down trail (220 steps, must be able-bodied.) You are right on the water! Full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine (bring K-cups,) microwave, oven, fridge, hot water maker, water filter, washer/dryer, tub/shower, deck w/ BBQ. You will need directions. Trail lights upon request after dark. (This is not a party house, no pets or shellfish digging. Young children not recommended due to stairs.) Strong cell signal!

Vashon Island Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet at the Cottage at Useful Bear Farm. Great for families, couples, friends. Vashon has lots to offer year-round: hiking, biking, beaches, bird-watching, or just relax and unwind. Conveniently located near the north-end ferry and close to town with great shops and restaurants. Full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining room on the first floor. Upstairs is a large sleeping loft with a queen bed, trundle bed, and sofa bed. A portion of proceeds go to local housing programs.

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Unwind from the hurly burly in this bright, cozy cottage. You'll find a spacious, full kitchen, living room area, and Queen bed. Enjoy coffee in a sitting area behind the cottage, or spend a relaxing evening there by the fire. Walk to trails, tennis courts, coffee roastery, and Vashon Center for the Arts. A mile and a half from the shops and restaurants of Vashon town. There's a pullout couch in the living room area. Full bath. 650 sq. ft.

Lakefront Cedars - Cozy 1 bd Waterfront Cottage

Enjoy The Lakefront Cedars Cottage with 60 feet of private waterfront access - kayaks provided! This rare little gem is a newly restored, one bedroom getaway with a modern cottage decor, simply and tastefully furnished. The cottage sits in the middle of a half acre of old growth cedar trees, viewed from each window. Work and/or play at your home away from home in peace and tranquility!
