The house is spacious and sufficiently furnished. It’s in a back alley and this way mostly quiet. Not very central so a motorbike rental is recommended, one bike is included with the place. Enjoy the local food just a few doors down which is a hidden treasure. Great for a few nights stay, easy communication. Be aware that the mattress is on the harder side, if your sensitive for that.

Surprise, surprise - We booked it again, even when the price was increased :) So , have the opportunity to have a second opinion: This is not a regular Airbnb stay - it is actually more like a home stay. It is clean, quiet and spacious (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with toilets) new apartment. Everything is nearby: convenient shops are near the entrance, bank and ATM is 3 minutes away, even a quality Dong Hair Salon is 2 minutes away. The time there goes fast, so better book quickly and for few weeks. There is a small bonus - a drinking water (triple filtered) tap :) This is an absolute gem, not only in Haiphong, but compared to many other stays. It may also turn you into a returning customer ! Looking forward for my third stay :)

We had a great stay on the Island of Cat Ba. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable including a washing machine which was helpful when travelling light. Minh provided lots of information on what was available to us on the island. The previous guests left early so my husband and grandson were able to get in early. They arrived around 8:30 am after a 12 hour bus ride from the Northern part of Vietnam so they really appreciated getting early admittance. The home was very colourful and had a front veranda which was a perfect place to unwind after a day of activity. My husband appreciated being able to rent a motorcycle at the homestead which made our stay even more enjoyable, as we were able to get around the island on our own. The AirBnB is off the beaten path but not far from the waterfront. There was ample space for several guests and I would definitely recommend for a family or group of friends. Die Unterkunft ist großartig und Ha ist eine super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin! Sie hat für uns eine private Bootstour organisiert und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Bei der Ankunft hat sie uns einen Tee und frische Früchte serviert, was sehr freundlich war! Die Unterkunft liegt in zweiter Reihe und daher schön ruhig. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und sauber eingerichtet und die Dachterrasse ist ein Highlight. Alles in allem 100% Weiterempfehlung! Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub!

Second time staying here and as before a nice size apartment and comfortable with everything that is needed.

Lavender is an incredible host -- very responsive and was able to arrange all sorts of services for us, including taxis, private chef, grocery delivery, etc. She also set up amazing Ha Long Bay cruise and Hanoi Jeep Tours, for great prices. The house actually matches the photos. The air conditioning works well and the pool is incredible. Beds are comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. TV and Sound System all worked great for karaoke as well!
