Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

Situated in a quiet location in the village of Stonesfield, Little Chestnut Cottage is a charming self-contained base from which to explore the Cotswolds and local attractions in the Oxford area such as Blenheim Palace. The cottage is just over an hour away from London yet surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are plenty of walks straight from the door across the picturesque Evenlode valley. Shakespeare’s Stratford is less than an hour away if you want to go a little further afield.

Estelle Manor 1.5 miles, Woodstock/Blenheim Palace/Witney 5 miles, Kidlington 7 miles, Oxford 10 miles & Bicester Village is located fairly nearby. Cheltenham/Newbury Racecourses 35 miles.

Charming studio flat on the edge of the Cotswolds

A sunny, self-contained studio flat with its own entrance, outdoor seating and off-road parking situated in a quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds. There's a Roman villa around the corner and Blenheim Palace down the road with wonderful footpaths through the woods and surrounding countryside. Keen walkers, cyclists, sightseers and visitors who just want to relax, will all find this a perfect base for visiting West Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. Minimum two night stay.

Accessed via its own door (mind your head!) a small entrance hall leads into a kitchen area, a shower room and on into a large south facing bedroom with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the front lawn of the main house. Relax on the comfy sofa or enjoy your meals at the dining table. Fully equipped for short or longer stays. A 20 minute walk across the fields to The Farmer's Dog pub.

The Guest Cottage at Priory Barn, Alvescot

Beautiful bright self-contained one bed cottage with double bed, fully equipped shower room, fully fitted kitchen (including washing machine/ dishwasher) dining table and chairs. Sitting room has large comfy sofa with TV. Tea, coffee, milk, internet, light breakfast provided There are a number delicious local takeaways who will deliver to this location. Also the local pub provide a collection service from their Covid menu (5 min walk).

Rose Cottage

Rose cottage is in a stunning location in the countryside surrounded by fields just below the ridgeway and 1 mile outside the historic market town of Wantage. It is the perfect starting point for walking, running and biking along the beautiful ridgeway. You will need your own car as there is no public transport nearby but there is plenty of parking outside the house and we can recommend good local taxi companies if necessary.

We are situated in the pretty rural village of Shabbington, just outside the market town of Thame, and surrounded by the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside.
