Can’t beat the view of Klaksvik. Perfect location for sunny and gloomy days. We visited in off season and thoroughly enjoyed sipping our morning coffee and evening wine looking at ships coming and going.

Klein aber gemütlich. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Alles perfekt.

Karsten and Durita are the very best hosts! They were hospitable, friendly and very helpful, far behind their host duties ❣️ The apartment is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and with a really great view. It is a calm place, where you can relax after busy days outdoors in the Faroe Islands. We spent a great 12 nights and days there. The only negative thing was, that we had to leave ☺️

Apartament molt ben localitzat i comode. I tot molt net. hem anat amb dos nens i han estat molt contents i comodes. Sunneva ens va rebre amb un verenar meravellos i fer per ella! ( la melmelada i els panets bonissims). ha estat una estança molt agradable i ens sentit com a casa!

We can’t say enough about Marita’s apartment. Very newly renovated and everything was new and perfect! She has a wonderful view from the living room and bedroom of the bay and the town. Parking is free and nearby. And her place was immaculate. There was a little pub across the street several small restaurants and easy access into the rest of the town on their main road. This was probably one of the nicest Airbnb’s that we’ve had over the years! Thank you Marita!

C'est un logement très bien équipé et pratique, avec une jolie vue. Arnfrid met à disposition une documentation et des livres très utiles sur les îles Féroé, les oiseaux...

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus in schöner Lage und wundervoller Umgebung. Altes Gebäude in gutem Zustand, alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Das Badezimmer sollte etwas renoviert werden, war aber für uns völlig in Ordnung. Nomi ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie kommuniziert schnell, informativ und sehr freundlich. Auf den Färöern ist fast alles teuer, was auch für die Unterkünfte gilt. Nomis Haus hat einen fairen Preis, mit dem man gut zufrieden sein kann. Sehr gerne würden wir es wieder mieten!

Once in a lifetime experience! This lovely house in Kvivik was otherwordly. Built in 1864, it has so much original features - but has all the modernities you need (nice shower, hob/oven, dishwasher). The neighborhood is very quiet with very little tourists, and I loved waking up to the sound of stream flowing right infront of the house. There is no cafes in town, but a super lovely knit shop called KvivikKnit around the corner that I visited 3 times! The ceiling can be slightly low if you are over 180cm tall, but the house is charming enough to compensate for it in my humble POV. Would love to stay here again - thank you for being on airbnb!!! ♥️

een verblijf met bijzonder mooi uitzicht je kan helemaal over het dorp kijken naar de zee prachtig keuken prima het bed is wat smal maar ligt wel goed men kan mooie wandelingen maken vanuit het huis

This was such a perfect place to stay - I was disappointed we only had one night! Short but sweet... The house is very quirky and quaint, I absolutely loved it! The location is perfect and we arrived while there was a football match on within view of the living room, so the town was very lively but peaceful afterwards! Sunneva was very welcoming and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended to others.

I stayed in Finnbjørn's house for 6 nights and was feeling like at home right the moment I entered the house. Since it was my first time visiting the Faroe Islands, the house was a perfect spot to relax between my packed days of exploring most spots of the Faroe Islands. The surrounding area is perfect for walks, (trail-) runs, hikes, swims (if you're brave enough) or simply sitting at the banks of the fjord to take in the scenery. The house features everything you need: a very spacious and well equipped kitchen, cozy couches, comfortable beds and beautiful bathroom with a great view out to the nearby fjord. There's a small supermarket and a café right around the corner which is perfect for stocking up on supplies or simply relaxing for a bit. The communication with Finnbjørn was perfect. I sometimes even felt sorry that he replied so quickly and I forgot to write him back because I was so absorbed by the magnificent nature. I will definitely try to stay at this place again!

Wir haben uns absolut wohl und zuhause gefühlt und mochten das Haus sehr. Es war alles da, was man braucht (Kaffee, Tee, Gewürze, Shampoo etc.) und noch mehr. Es gab sogar kuschelige Hausschuhe. Alles war super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Morgens konnte man gemütlich mit einem Tee vor dem Haus sitzen und aufs Meer schauen. Von fast allen Fenstern aus hat man eine wunderbare Aussicht. Der Ort ist idyllisch, es gibt einen kleinen Hafen, eine hübsche Kirche, einen tolles Strickwarengeschäft und Hühner sowie Schafe laufen in der Nachbarschaft umher.

The place is just as described in the post! Even better in person with all the minor details . The view from living room is amazing. The house is equipped with all the basic needs!

Lækker bolig og alt fungerer og man føler sig hjemme.

Vi er fire lærerstuderende, der har boet hos Annilisa i halvanden måned. Det var under vores praktik på en skole i Tórshavn fra oktober-december. På vores rejse fra Danmark svarede hun hurtigt og præcist på vores spørgsmål om indtjekning og lignende. Der var rigeligt med sengetøj og håndklæder, og der stod håndsæbe, badesæbe, toiletpapir og vaskepulver klar til os. Et par gange under opholdet skrev vi til hende med en lampe, der skulle skiftes og andre småting, hvor hun var nede hos os senest næste dag. Vi kan alle fire trygt anbefale Annilisa som vært, og hun er god til at komme og spørge, om du mangler noget, uden at det bliver for påtrængende. Der er kort til supermarked og offentlig transport. Annilisa har også masser af spændende bøger og brætspil at fordrive tiden med. Lejligheden var også til en meget rimelig pris. Store anbefalinger fra Mads, Rasmus, Mary og Rasmus Bedste hilsner

The place was quiet and cozy, a perfect location for exploring Faroe Islands. Very friendly host!

We enjoyed staying at Óluva's place! The location was perfect and we were easily able to go into town down the street, and it was a great location to base ourselves in the Faroe Islands! The view from the apartment was great and it was wonderful to have all the amenities (like a full kitchen and laundry) during our stay. We would happily stay here again when visiting the Faroe Islands!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

We had the best stay at Paulina’s place! It was perfect for a group of 3 travelers. We loved the running stream right outside, it was so relaxing to hear the sounds. The outside is perfect for morning coffee (we were lucky we had great sunny weather during our stay). The location is easy to find and walkable to all the main sites/restaurants/shops in Torshavn yet it’s tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and had a very comfortable stay. Paulina and her husband were very responsive and helpful. Thank you for such a memorable stay! We hope to return again!

Io e mia moglie abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo splendido appartamento. Molto pulito e funzionale. Tanto spazio, Cucina ben attrezzata, tanti elettrodomestici, una grande Smart TV, ma soprattutto vista stupenda. La posizione è ottima per visitare le Isole Faroe, in poco tempo si può raggiungere la capitale è tutte le isole. Non ci sono molti ristoranti vicino, per quelli bisogna spostarsi nella capitale che comunque dista solo 30 minuti. A 10 minuti c’è un supermercato ben fornito. Raccomandiamo questo appartamento a tutti quelli che vogliono godersi la pace delle Isole Faroe con una posizione strategica ma anche super tranquilla.

Solva ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die flott auf Anfragen reagiert. Die Geräuschkulisse durch die Kinder empfanden wir nicht als störend, wie manche hier geschrieben haben. Der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt gegenüber war ebenfalls praktisch. Die Ausstattung war (bis auf den Toaster, den wir nicht gefunden haben) klasse - inzwischen gibt es sogar einen Trockner. Der Internetzugang klappte ebenfalls problemlos. Der Ortskern ist fußläufig prima zu erreichen.
