The space comfortably sleeps four people (with ability to sleep 6 with a pull-out couch). Enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature by sitting around the fire pit or relaxing in the hammock.

The Cottages at Whippoorwill Acres were newly built in 2025 and are located at the junction of Highways 63 and 136 south of Lancaster, Missouri. Kirksville, MO is located 20 minutes to the south, and Bloomfield, IA is located 25 minutes to the north. We have six cottages on the property that accommodate 1-6 guests each. Newly updated, nicely decorated cabin walking distance to Hazel Creek Lake. 530-acre lake is less than 7 miles from stores and restaurants and popular with anglers and waterfowl hunters. Fishing includes muskie, crappie, bass, channel catfish, blue catfish, and carp. Deer and turkey are plentiful for viewing.
