Perfect retreat high along the NC-TN line. Stunning views of the Blue Ridge from the deck and living room. Easy access to hiking and to the Appalachian Trail. Easy drivable access to Big Bald Mtn with views for miles. House is well equipped for a large group as far as towels, beds and dishes. Great hot tub right next to the deck for easy access. Very responsive host (within minutes). You do need AWD or 4WD to get up the steep driveway.

My family of 12 stayed this past week and this truly may have been our favorite Airbnb find yet. I didn’t fully understand the benefit of staying in Wolf Laurel- but it’s a private gated neighborhood that gives you direct access to hiking on the Appalachian Trail- the backyard of this Airbnb literally puts you on it! We were able to drive up to Bald Mountain, summit it and walk down 4.5 miles back home!!! I have never stayed somewhere like that. The space provided plenty of places for our family to come together to cook, play pool and board games, relax in the hot tub, have campfires, play with our dogs, and space to be alone when needed to reset and recharge. The hosts were incredibly responsive and quick to help when we had a few last minute questions. We are very hopeful to return one day soon!

A pristine home in an amazing private community. Full equipped with kitchen, bath, and extras. Always great recommendations and responsive to questions. Highly recommend for families that enjoy nature and privacy.

Off the beaten path. Secluded and peaceful with plenty of space.

A fantastic place, one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever had. Easy to find, extremely clean, fully stocked and clean kitchen with nice cookware, otherworldly views and panoramas. You won’t be able to stop taking photos! Two minutes to hiking trail and ski slope 10 mins away. Follow the instructions in the check-in/out notebook to take care of the few little quirks like the stubborn door latches, and it all works perfectly. Definitely booking again!

We have stayed at a couple of different places of Roberts and they have all been clean. They have all been uniquely decorated and very interesting and never cluttered. They have really thought of everything when it comes to your needs. They always respond to your text messages if you have any questions at all. The directions and check in instructions are always simple and perfect. We look forward to staying at this property again when we make it back to the area. The one thing that I must add to this is that the rooms and shower are much bigger than they appear in the photos listed. Thank You Rob, Jen and Monica for another great stay.

second time at Daniel's 100+ year old cabin. easy access to hiking on Appalachian trail and the view cannot be described as other than breathtaking. very enjoyable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Barndominium! We've stayed at many Airbnbs throughout the country, and this is now one of our top five! The property looks exactly like it does in the photos, but the photos cannot relay the genuine sense of warmth, comfort, and quality we felt the minute we entered. The furniture and decor were so well done, comfortable and beautiful at the same time, and the kitchen was stocked with everything and anything you could want or need. Everything about this place is impressive, and we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

This was our second time staying at this adorable clean Airbnb. It brings back so many childhood memories of my grandparents home. As always we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Ms. Eunice and Grace for your amazing hospitality.

This is a second visit. Just as before, everything was neat, clean, and very convenient to our son's home. Ed very kindly allowed our grandchildren to visit. My husband and I felt right at home. Ed is very responsive and visits seem comfortable and easy. We appreciated the snacks left for us and the convenient amenities. We are comforted in knowing there is a lovely place to stay close to our NC family.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Great place to stay and very quiet. It had everything I needed. Clear check-in instructions, and it was easy to come and go without the host needing to be there. Very clean! I will stay there again when in town.

Great location to hit the AT. Great hospitality and his wife makes THE BEST cookies! Great place to stay if you are on the trail or just in the area on vacation.

It was a wonderful relaxing stay. I wish I could have stayed longer and had a chance to explore the area more. comfy bed and soft leather chair by the fireplace. note: house is allllll the way up the mtn so keep going in you are arriving after dark. the house is at the end as far as you can go up.

An oasis in the mountains. Jamie and Chuck have created a true retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The setting is extremely well cared for, peaceful and truly rejuvenating. With the creek just down the hill from the cabin that you can hear all day, to the magic of bird song in the forest and the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The space is immaculate and super cozy. I had everything I needed for a 10 day stay (other than groceries of course). The rocking chairs on the front porch were my favorite. So many sweet touches, from snacks in a basket when I arrived, fresh flower pots and a hummingbird feeder on the deck, plush towels in the bathroom and spring water right from the tap. If you love memory foam the bed will be a dream. The wifi did mostly everything I needed and only became unstable once or twice. Jamie and Chuck were very respectful of my privacy, yet were there if I needed anything. I felt super safe staying on their property. I'll be back for sure💕💕

Check in was amazingly easy . Location was even better. The wildlife doesn’t know it’s wild so the dear graze with the cattle in the front of the cabin . Clean and tidy with all amenities needed to actually live while away from home . Will be staying again there soon!!

Our host were great. Made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our family vacation. We had to book this last minute because another place didn’t work out. This wasn’t a problem- we were able to book and drive straight over. This really relieved a stressful situation. Thanks!

A rustic retreat in the mountains! The deck, views and hot tub were as relaxing as described, and would definitely come back to explore more hiking. Proximity to Hatley Pointe was ideal for our ski trip and the fireplace was perfect to warm up after a day on the slopes.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and so serene. It was a short weekend simply to spend quality time with family in the mountains. The lay out of the cabin was perfect and the beds were comfortable and cozy. There were several board games we enjoyed and the pool table was a huge plus. Our stay was accommodating for the Grandchildren. Also, the coffee station was also very nice. We packed all the food and drinks we needed and didn’t need to leave the cabin during our stay.
