The house is amazing and the view is absolutely incredible! We had a great weekend there and Gonçalo was very responsive and helpful. Absolutely recommend it !

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. Thanks Ed for a fab stay at your lovely house.

This house worked out very well for two families with kids. It's very big and spread out with lots of sleeping options. There's a tiny bit of wear and tear and we did have to buy/bring all of our own basic kitchen supplies like spices, oils, sugar, salt and pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, shower soaps. But we loved that the house provided beach supplies like chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas and yoga mats. Nothing much in walking distance but several excellent beaches and places to eat within a few miles. The pool and ping pong table were fantastic and we would definitely recommend this place for a group of travelers. We had a fabulous time. :-)

Wir waren mit zwei Familien dort und alle hatten viel Platz. Die Aussicht auf den Ozean ist klasse und zwei schöne Strände in weniger als 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit João war einfach und schnell. Toll war auch der Obstkorb mit dem wir begrüßt wurden. Lediglich die Feuchtigkeit und die Ameisen im Haus bei der Ankunft, waren nicht optimal, haben uns aber auch nicht weiter gestört und lagen wohl auch an der Jahreszeit zu der wir gereist sind. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Danke João :)

Cool place with an amazing ocean view! Perfect spot for surfers, with a surf shop right on the first floor offering board and wetsuit rentals. There's also a great restaurant downstairs, making it super convenient to grab a bite after a session in the waves. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay close to the beach with everything you need just steps away!

We had a wonderful week here! Our 5 year old loved the climbing frame, extra toys and of course the heated swimming pool. We loved the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings and the view. The house is extremely comfortable and we were made to feel at home right away after a lovely welcome and tour to help us get settled. The fantastic beds (hotel quality) and blackout blinds meant that we all slept really well, especially after long, active days. All of the facilities were of very high quality. The area is beautiful with a range of different beaches to choose from, as well as trips to Lisbon and Sintra easily possible, and the nearby mountains as well. There was also the convenience of a lovely bakery and mini supermarket very close by, as well as fantastic restaurants on the local beaches. A great place to stay, wonderful hosts and a fantastic area. We would highly recommend!!
