Enjoy a 125+ year old country home with large yard and beautiful shade trees located on a 100-acre farm in the rolling hills of SE Missouri. The house is very clean and spacious with 4 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful hardwood floors and a large living room. We have hand-made quilts and antique furniture throughout. The kitchen is fully furnished. Relax on our 40’ front porch with swing, by the fire pit or in a hammock. A perfect place for you to recharge from stress & busy schedules!

Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. Located at the end of the 58 mile Tunnel Hill Bike Trail. Fully furnished with full size kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedroom and pool table. No need to pack, all the basic essentials are provided including, but not limited to, bottled water, paper plates, utensils, towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, coffee, juice, milk, bread, etc. If it's not there, the Dollar General Store is located 5 blocks away. Full size bed, room for 2 additional people, inflatable mattress available upon request.

Standalone, 2 BR, light, airy, upstairs apartment for 4 guests. Full kitchen, coffee bar, washer/dryer. In our small village, there is a grocery store, bank, post office, Dollar Store, library, gas station, and a park are within walking distance. I-57 is one mile. We live near a railroad crossing. If you are a very light sleeper, they may wake you. Each bedroom has a desk and sitting area and the bedside table lamp bases have outlets to charge your phone or tablet.

The Paddock at 1208 - Simplicity, Style & Comfort

The Paddock at 1208 is a house that was built in the 1920's. Former owner was a pharmacist and racing horse trainer hence the name and decor. There is a sister house across the street, The Choisser Burnett House which sleeps six and is also on Airbnb.com. Twenty minutes minutes south is the  Shawnee National Forest whose terrain spans woodlands, hills and lakes and it's wildlife includes bald eagles.
