Part if the old city and with views of the lake, the entire place is up for guests wanting their own sanctuary in the midst of all the activity of Udaipur. It is thus great for groups of friends, families or others on their Indian adventure. The rooms are great with 6 having double beds and one having a single bed. The rooms are all air-conditioned and come with attached bathrooms with modern fixtures including a shower and a WC. As would be expected, hot water is available in all bathrooms.

The Vaag Udaipur - Terrace Suite with Living Room

400 sq ft Private terrace suite room situated on the 2nd floor is big and comfortable with king size bed and an 8 inch mattress. The terrace outside the room is a great place to chill or absorb the mesmerizing beauty of the Aravalli mountain range or just have a peaceful introspection. Going forward with world sustainability initiatives our house is powered by solar energy, all vegetables are grown on site with organic farming methods and the milk is from our own cow “Gauri”.

Single room in a 300 year old Haveli

The single bedded room comes with an ensuite bathroom and makes for a great place to stay in during the warm summers as well as the clear winters. Apart from this, we have a great rooftop restaurant. Breakfast and stay are included in the cost. In a building more than 300 years old is set this room. A true authentic sense of Udaipur, it took six years to renovate this building that has many stories attached to it including being the residence of a king at one point in time!
