Jean is an amazing host and definitely goes above and beyond for what she does and provides in her accommodation. You just literally need to turn up with your clothes as everything you need is supplied within the apartment. From shaving accessories to biscuits and cakes. The accommodation is set in a lovely area of Sunderland very beautiful and peaceful we didn’t hear any road noise or any noise from the neighbours it was great. I can recommend the Rosedene pub it’s about a 10min walk there is also bar at the local cricket club which is open to the public was lucky enough to catch the ending of a game during our stay. We will definitely be back to see Jean very soon we didn’t want to leave.

I visited Newcastle and surroundings, travelling by myself from mainland Europe. The apartment is clean and spacious and I loved that it's minimal yet cosy and light. If you're a bit more sensitive: the bedroom is situated on the side of a busier road. If you keep the bedroom window closed, there's no noise. I opened the window at night and used ear plugs - worked fine. At 5 minutes walking distance from metro and small shops. A 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach. Tomara was very friendly ad prompt in her communication and thinks along if you have a question. Recommend staying there!

Jen was a brilliant host. She gave me all the information I needed in advance and replied quickly if I had any questions. Brilliant place very comfortable. Easy to find. Had absolutely no problems. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from the bus stop which can take you into Newcastle or out to Blyth to take transport along the coast or further north. Only a few more minutes from there is a shop you can get essentials from.

Great place for a weekend stay. Close to the station, easy check in. Couple of lovely pubs near by and easy walk to shops / bars / restaurants etc in city centre. Nice flat with everything you need. thanks!

Priya's place is lovely, very cosy and comfy, and super clean with everything you'll need. It's in a great location for both Gosforth and Newcastle with a Metro station a ten minute one way and the high street the other. It's a residential area so on street parking may not be directly in front of the house but we managed to get one not too far away, but it's a safe area so would have been happy parking a little further if needed. Priya is a great host, check in was easy and communication superb, we would happily stay again if returning to Newcastle.

Lovely apartment, quiet, so cozy and had everything you need for a short stay. As a solo traveller I felt safe and comfortable. So close to the Metro with links to Newcastle City Centre and on to the airport. So handy, no need for a car. Welcome pack was a lovely touch😊

The flat was warm and cosy on arrival and remained so despite the January weather. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. The front windows caught the winter sun all day, with great views over the Tyne. It was comfortable, relaxing and quiet, just what was needed. The location is excellent for all the village amenities and for the metro station, perfect for trips out to the wider Tyneside area with its wide variety of interesting places. The acid test is whether we'd go again - the answer is a resounding yes.

Great location, walking distance from town and the Metro. Park opposite which was perfect for our dog. Clean and tidy, free of clutter. Everything was new and everything worked. Apartment over 4 floors which for some may cause access issues. We couldn’t fault it.

Great location close to park and walking trail, lots of independently owned restaurants, metro and an easy walk to downtown Newcastle. Northumbria uni offers day entry to swimming and gym which was great for us too. We appreciated a quick response from Martin when we had questions. Everything was as advertised and we would stay again.

Iain and Maggie are very nice hosts. The place is easy to get to from train or metro, and in an interesting neighborhood. The apartment is lovely, with light pouring in huge windows, comfy beds, and well-appointed kitchen. We loved it!

We had a great stay at Amy’s location. Absolutely loved the style of the flat, and everything was clean and in great condition. The location was great for us, we walked into the centre a few times and used Uber to get home, which cost around £5. Amy offered great recommendations. We loved the fireplace and made us feel right at home. We also made use of the games that were left. It was such a kind touch of the hosts to leave us some treats too, which were very much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay, and would love to come back. Thank you so much, and Happy New Year 😊

Had booked in for its location! Was in the heart of South Shields and you could really head to the beach walking. I would book here again if I need to be in Sunderland or Newcastle for the day. The house was decorated in a unique style. I enjoyed the modern decor. It has been kept very clean. Yasmin, was very responsive and helpful. All in all I recommend it again. Would come back here sooner than expected. Thanks

Great stay in Newcastle with friends, comfortable beds and accommodation had everything we needed for our group's stay. Rod was friendly and clear with instructions while the location was just a 10min Uber ride to the city centre

Aleena was a great host. Very responsive, helpful, friendly and gave local recommendations. Her place was very clean and she left chocolates for us which was nice. I would definitely stay at her house again.

I managed to book myself in for the third time at Lisa's place. It never disappoints. Clean and tidy. Safe parking in a quiet neighborhood. Huge TV, comfy bed, the works! Thank you for having me.🙂

Basic Airbnb with convenient parking. Great location for a party at Blaydon rugby club. Emir was very friendly and helpful.

Really lovely place to stay . Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Perfect for us and a short distance from the wedding we were attending . We had a lovely weekend at Sams place. Perfect place to stay for a nice weekend in Newcastle. Just out of city centre, but Jesmond is a very nice neighbourhood. Next time I am going to Newcastle I'll firstly check at Sam.
