It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

Carol and Clive were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble. The cottage is querky and full of character with a lovely back garden next to the river and with beautiful views of the countryside. Check in was flexible and easy to arrange. It is a lovely village and Carol's place is central and walkable to local pubs. I had a lovely time and would return to explore the area more.

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Our second fabulous stay in this extraordinary B&B in the countryside. Very tastefully decorated in a rustic eclectic style. L&R are the most welcoming and warmhearted hosts. An exceptional experience.

Andrew made my stay in Brighton amazing. He gave me great recommendations for places to go and eat. I had such a wonderful time staying here.

What a lovely accommodation, and Vivienne was super friendly and helpful. Vivienne met us on check in, showed us the accommodation and gave some recommendations for food and walks. We had plentiful food for breakfast and a well equipped kitchen so we could make dinner too. The bed was comfortable, the heating works well (although we visited during warm weather we barely used it).

Fiona is a fabulous hostess. Great location, beautiful accommodations, delicious breakfast. We enjoyed chatting with Fiona over breakfast every morning and she gave us super helpful travel advice every day. Thank you Fiona, for making our trip fantastic - hope to stay with you again!

Shelley and Scott were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfy, as well as plenty of hot water in the shower! The walls were a bit thin but it didn’t bother me much. I enjoyed my stay, especially their 2 lovely cats and their dog. As far as location goes, it’s in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk to the train station and then 15 minute ride into London.

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

A really lovely stay , gorgeous location stunning views. Breakfast was delicious and Lesley was so lovely and accommodating. We will definitely be staying again !

I had a lovely stay with Mary&Paul. They both made me feel very welcome, they are both very kind&lovely people. My room was lovely clean and cosy, I slept 😴 very well. The breakfast in the morning was delicious 😋 the homemade muesli was really nice and my dippy eggs and toast was made perfectly by Paul, all washed down with a pot of tea. I am already planning my next stay. A big Thank you for everything. 😊

James was a fantastic host when my Dad stayed with him over Christmas in his beautiful house in central Cuckfield. The only thing to flag in case it is an issue is that the stairs up to the bedrooms are steep, which is entirely in keeping with the very characterful house, but the less mobile guests may find them a challenge! James could not have done more to ensure my Dad had a comfortable stay and was made to feel very welcome - we will definitely be back!!

I can’t say enough good things about Diana. She was a very warm and gracious host. She allowed me to drop my bags before checking and leave my bags after which was a big plus for me and to top that all off,. She made me a homemade breakfast which was delicious! It is an easy walk to the tube or the bus . There’s a beautiful park right down the way from her home . I felt very safe walking alone, as a solo traveler, this was perfect . If you want to feel like you’re at home,, Diana‘s place is for you. Thank you so much,, Diana, for opening your lovely home to me!

Great hosts. Very welcoming to us all. Home was immaculate, Rooms were lovely and spacious, just what we needed for a weekend away. Great location, not too far to walk into Hove and to carry on into Brighton. Available at any point if we had any issues (which we didn't) , you didn't even realise they were in the house. Continental Breakfast available which was ideal before a day out. Thank you for being great hosts and welcoming us into your home.

Perfect place to stay for the Brighton Marathon. The accommodation was very clean, spacious, comfortable and peaceful. Easy access into Brighton, host very helpful.

We had a great stay at Tamila's home! The bed was super comfortable and it was really lovely to read a book in the garden while drinking the high quality tea and coffee available. Over time we also learned that there are multiple "shortcuts" to arrive at the place (on foot), such that we could easily reach different parts of the town away from the main road. The apartment is just like described - no surprises there. Everything is clean, and the breakfast provided had high quality products and fruit. Tamila has been helpful and flexible, we arrived a bit earlier than scheduled yet it was no problem for letting us checking in earlier. Highly recommend!

Trish and her daughter were incredibly kind and there is a lot of love in the rooms they provide. Every detail thought of. It was a perfect place to stay as a single woman. The bus to the airport from the top of the road was super helpful with Ubers being so pricey! Would stay again. And very much appreciate the care and love put in! Thank you Trish!

Brilliant place to stay, really easy to find with added bonus of off road parking. Sue and Angela were great hosts and very welcoming. Excellent communication and after arriving earlier than planned Sue made herself available straight away to help sort us out which was really appreciated. Superb facilities with large bedroom and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect for setting us up for the day. Spent two days in central London and found it very easy to walk to either Balham or Tooting Bec tube giving us speedy access to a variety of locations. Highly recommend staying here, Sue and Angela were very supportive not only with their local knowledge but also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We very much hope to go back if available on our next trip to London.

I stayed at Val’s house for a night whilst I went to a wedding nearby. Val is absolutely lovely and was so helpful and responsive before getting there and whilst staying. Her house is beautiful and the room was lovely. A huge comfy bed, loads of room and the bathroom was really clean. Parking was super easy too - right outside the house in a safe gated driveway. Val made a delicious breakfast in the morning for me and I was able to say what time I would like it. She was so attentive whilst giving me space and was very relaxed with timings etc making the whole experience absolutely wonderful. I would absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area. Thank you so much Val!

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
