This cottage is a hidden gem on Vashon Island. Elizabeth is an attentive host and made my stay memorable. It was wonderful surprise to have the kitchen stocked with organic eggs, butter, coffee creamer, jams, yogurt, fresh fruit, a variety of coffees and teas. Making daily breakfast was a breeze and yummy. The cottage has peek a boo view of Mount Rainier and Cascade mountains. You may be lucky in having a deer or two stop by or see an eagle or pelican fly by. The location is minutes from the quaint downtown area and centrally located to other parts of the island. Bedrooms are cozy. Bathroom is generously stocked with towels and a variety of shampoos. There was also body lotion since I forgot to bring mine! Living room has comfy chairs and sturdy table to eat at or use as a work surface. It came in handy for a project I was working on. There’s even a grand piano. I highly recommend staying here. I’m already planning my next trip and staying here! Thank you Elizabeth!

Gorgeous views! Beautiful property and house! My sister-in-law came to the PNW to celebrate her early retirement. This space was perfect for us! She was comfortable in the upstairs bedroom and I slept like a baby on the sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked for big breakfasts, we didn't cook dinner here though there was a grill and more than enough in the kitchen to help with that- we chose to eat out each night after days of exploring national parks and Seattle, etc. The house is stocked with the necessary towels, laundry needs, and hot hot water for ending the day in the comfort of a hot shower. This place is perfect for a girl's trip, family trip, or couples trip! There were kayaks to use and a perfectly placed hot tub to enjoy the view... we just chose to spend our days exploring but would have loved more time for some "stay on the property relaxation." Rebecca was the most attentive host! Her and her husband were very responsive and met us during check in to help us settle in. The space was absolutely lovely and the surrounding area was so charming. Driving distance from Olympic National Park, and straight shot to the airport. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to be in a cozy, warm space surrounded by trees and the lake.

Our stay on Hood Canal was one of the most amazing travel experiences I’ve had. The location and the layout of the rental are perfect for relaxation, wildlife viewing, adventure, and inspiration. The hosts thought of everything and I cannot recommend this place enough!

My sister and I had a very relaxing stay. The house was cozy and very clean with fabulous views. The lilac was in bloom so everything smelled wonderful, too. The handbook is a bit vague in places (no list of recyclable items and no instructions for the for the hot tub) but the hosts were very responsive to questions. A very peaceful escape.

Loved staying here with my family. House was SO clean. Would definitely come back. Great amount of space enjoyed seeing the water all day. Even had a highchair for my little one!

Such a charming home! We loved it! Traveled with three small kids who loved kayaking, fishing, throwing rocks in the water, running down the big hill to the water, the books in the kids reading nook and exploring the local parks/beaches. It’s very quiet, no road noise. Amazing view of mt. Rainer on a clear day and expansive views from almost all rooms. It’s an old house from the 1930s with a lot of the original old house charm but modern amenities have been updated to make it comfortable. Cathy was very kind and responsive. Thank you!

Stayed at this house with a few friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Serene views of the passage from a heated deck and hot tub, and spacious living quarters for everyone to have separate sleeping quarters.
