For swimming, FREE docking for your boat to fish, water ski or just cruise in Thompson lake. 14 miles one of Maines cleanest lakes. 6 Bicycles, 2- kayaks, 2-16 ft canoes, a 14 ft rowboat, and a paddle boat, fishing gear, firewood available for guest at no charge for fire pit. Propane and charcoal barbeques available at cottage. THERE IS NO WIFI.

The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

The Cottage is the perfect get away spot for private time together. There is a designated work space upstairs with windows for fresh air, great WiFi, space to move, comfortable and peaceful. Picturesque, close to hiking trails or just lying in the grass listening to the brook, enjoying a snooze in the sun. Opportunities for rock climbing, hiking, bird watching with guides are available thru a variety of sources. Truly a place to work, rest, and play.

Whether you prefer wading into the water or jumping off the dock into deep water, this is the place for you. Spend your vacation relaxing in the hammock, drinking coffee on the 3 season porch, fishing, kayaking, playing yard games, watching the sunset from the floating picnic table at the dock, and cozying up around the Solo Stove campfire.
