With it's own private entrance and sliding door to an east facing 2nd story deck, it has views of the mountains and clear night skies. Located on a small "farmette". Enjoy unparalleled views of bustling Southwest Harbor and the beauty of Acadia National Park from the comfort of Eagle's Nest. Perched on a granite cliff, this thoughtfully designed little home provides for your every need. For anything else, take the ten minute stroll into the village, where you'll find plenty of local shops and restaurants. You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

“Low Tide” studio *no cleaning fee!

This unique place has a style all its own. It’s an open concept studio for two on the “quietside” of Mount Desert Island. This cozy, newly constructed nook is the perfect place to rest your head after exploring all our island has to offer! Note, there is no oven or cooktop. Your kitchenette will provide a sink, refrigerator, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Your studio is the downstairs to the owners apartment, both with their own entrance and shares a driveway with my other rental.

The Seamist Cottage - Converted Historic Barn

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

Otter Creek Retreat hosted by Elaine & Richard

Between Bar Harbor and Seal Harbor, 10 minutes by car to both and just 5 minutes by car to the Otter Cliff entrance to Acadia Park Loop Road. Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

Great place to use your kayak, canoe, wading boots & bicycle. Full bathroom with shower. Open concept downstairs with kitchen/dining/living room and a grand piano, with a library of nice books. SECOND LEVEL: Half bath. 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed each. Alcove with a youth bed.

Welcome to the Quiet side of Mount Desert Island, With the same easy access to all of the wonders Acadia National Park has to offer. Why not stay on the less commercialized and more peaceful side of the island. This cozy tiny cabin is fully separate from the Main House. It has a private bathroom, kitchenette/dining area, and ample parking space. The main house is now also rented on Airbnb, the homeowner will still be available for any questions or help!
