Situated within the village of Talgarth, nestled in the foothills of the Black mountains in the Brecon Beacons national park. Just 10 miles from Brecon to the West and 7 miles from the famous book town Hay on Wye to the East. Situated in a very quiet back lane with parking in front of property for one car, ( additional parking available 200 meters down the road.) Cosy lounge with leather sofa and comfy chairs, log burner for cwtching on an evening. Modern kitchen. Downstairs toilet, dining room, garden with seating, two bedrooms, one double and two singles which can be made up to a double if you wish. Bathroom with toilet, bath and separate walk in power shower.

Close to the market town of Brecon (4 miles); Llangorse Lake (2 miles). The cosy Cottage is well equipped with its own parking. Kitchen; dining & living space; Bedroom (with standard double bed) & en-suite bath/shower. Small private garden to enjoy sunsets & night skies; overlooking farmland. Great access to outdoor adventures & a relaxing retreat.

The Sheep Pen @ Nantygwreiddyn Barns

Reconnect with nature and enjoy the spectacular views from our hill farm in the Black Mountains. The historic stone barn has been sympathetically converted into two adjoining cottages. The Sheep Pen, a double bedroom with a double sofa bed downstairs and The Byre, with two double bedrooms. Fully self contained with kitchen areas, internet, smart TVs, handy USB sockets in all rooms and bedding and towels provided. Guests have access to our 60 acres of land where we keep rare breed sheep and deer.

The Talgarth Mill House

The Mill House is situated on Talgarth Town Square and is adjacent to Talgarth Mill, a water powered flour mill run by volunteers. Talgarth Mill houses an artisan bakery, a café & a craft shop. Talgarth achieved Gold in Wales in Bloom in 2021 and 2022 and a Gold in Britain in Bloom 2022. The pretty river Enig flows through the centre of town. Its situation is perfect for walking and cycling in the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Canoeing, sailing and horse-riding activities are nearby.

Little Donkey Cottage

A charming little four star cottage on the edge of the village of Talgarth nestled in the foothills of the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park. An ideal area for walking, cycling, canoeing and other outdoor pursuits. Self contained with private garden and suitable for two adults. Close to all local amenities - shops, pubs, eating places etc. - very well equipped with off road parking, free wifi and good mobile reception. Two nights minimum stay. Hot water provided.

Little Barn

Ideal for 2 people to get away to the beautiful Welsh countryside. The 'Little Barn' is located about 1.5 miles SW of the small town of Talgarth with fantastic views of the Black mountains. Ideal for a break whether it’s mountain walking, cycling, visiting the local book, food, countryside living or jazz festivals, or some peace and quiet to reflect on life. Has all kitchen amenities needed plus towels&bedding. There is a shower room with toilet and basin. WiFi and flat-screen TV.

Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Comfortable self catering log cabin set in the heart of Black Mountains, South West Wales. Tranquil setting near Hay-on-Wye, Abergavenny, Brecon and close to many attractions. A walkers and bikers paradise, outstanding views and sunset. Sleeps six – 1 double bedroom with ensuite shower, 1 twin bedroom, 1 sofa bed in lounge and a seperate shower room. Dogs welcome maximum two. Please note this accommodation is on a working farm so dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
