My boyfriend and I visited with two friends, so we booked the entire barn. Helen was there to meet us when we arrived and offered us a tea and coffee with biscuits. We found the barn to be spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and interior design were lovely quality and comfortable. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The quality and choice of breakfast was amazing and they catered for a vegetarian and gluten free. Helen was a great host who couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are pretty and peaceful with lovely views of the Countryside. The photos dont do this place justice. We really couldnt rate this place highly enough. Thanks Jen

Great place - just as advertised and required for a short peaceful break in between Christmas family gatherings, Hot Tub and Sauna both brilliant all by candlelight which is so nice in the countryside. 100% will return

We had a truly wonderful experience staying at Stonelands. Christine was incredibly generous and kind—she upgraded our booking to an entire house at no extra charge, which was such a lovely surprise. After spending a few days in hotel rooms, staying in this cosy house felt like a breath of fresh air. It was spacious, comfortable, and made us feel completely at home. Each evening, our host thoughtfully set the breakfast table, and in the morning we enjoyed a delicious, homemade breakfast that made our days start on such a positive note. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for local cafés, restaurants, and tourist spots, which really helped us make the most of our stay. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and home-like experience.

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Jenny was the perfect host , friendly , communicative and flexible . The listing if anything underplayed what was a fantastic facility . In addition the breakfast was superb - just right before a day on the golf course. If I was in the area again I would certainly want to stay at Jenny’s Airbnb.

Great Airbnb - comfy beds, lovely breakfast. Belinda very friendly and helpful. Dartington village is in the middle of some beautiful countryside but only 5mins drive to Totnes.

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

Amazing find of a place on the south side of Plymouth, near ferry departures. Friendly, helpful host and excellent response times. Great value.

Mel and Wayne were great hosts, perfect little place right by lusty glaze beach, and a 15 minute walk into main Newquay. The room was spotless, the breakfast was lovely and was a perfect all round trip. Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Newquay and will be booking this place again on our return down south. 5 star’s plus!! Thank you both for hosting us. Molly & Luke

What a gem of a find. Clean and very comfortable. The hosts, Mary and Terry were lovely and gave us some great tips for sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and filling and set us up for the day. We would highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely stay again when we are coming to Cornwall.

Helen was amazing! I booked this trip as a birthday surprise for my Mum and my sister was accompanying her. Helen was amazing with checking in over messages. My mother raved about her stay. The room was beautiful, Helen and her husband were so kind and hospitable. There are already talks at home of coming back as a family!

Stayed with Nicky and Si for a couple of days in Swimbridge and I think the most tranquil AirBnB I’ve stayed at yet! Breakfasts were continental and lots of choice, and Nicky was great in responding quickly to queries on check in and the room. The room was clean and well put together overlooking a great view of the church.

We had a wonderful stay! The house has a beautiful garden and a charming traditional style. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Polly is a lovely and friendly host who respected our privacy, which made us feel completely at ease. She also kindly guided us to local sightseeing spots, which helped us make the most of our trip. Every morning, she prepared a lovely breakfast for us, including fresh bread with jam, milk, almond milk, cereal, tea, and coffee. It was a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location for walking/cycling straight from the door. Host and other staff were friendly and welcoming. Really dog friendly, mine was made to feel very welcome. Great breakfast included too.

This beautiful home in Launceston was a pleasure to spend several days in. I was greeted warmly on arrival (the fresh brew was much appreciated, after a long trip!) and Justin was a gracious, enthusiastic and personable host throughout my stay. The continental breakfast was tasty and always well laid out and the guestroom was spacious, extremely clean and well-appointed, with delightful views of the garden courtyard during the day. Access to the property was straightforward, with Justin providing clear instructions on this. The bed and supplied linen were comfortable and spotless and everything felt homely, cosy but uncluttered. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Launceston area, who may not even be spending much time in the town itself as it would certainly be worth using as a base to explore the rest of N. Cornwall and neighbouring areas of Devon. Hope to be able to stay here again in the future! :)

A pretty bungalow in a secluded location. Our charming hostess Christine struck the perfect balance between being attentive and discrete, it didn’t feel like we were in a private residence. The layout externally and internally suited my wife’s restricted mobility issues. Due to the prevailing weather conditions we were unable to fully appreciate the surrounding area which looked very quiet and rural. There were extensive gardens surrounding the bungalow that looked as if they would burst into life as the seasons develop, adding to the property’s attractiveness. We fully intend to return at a later date to see more!

Beverely’s home was a perfect place for a stopover before continuing my travels. She and her partner were very friendly, and they exuded a relaxed atmosphere.

What a great find. Julie and Graham's Smithy is really lovely, just as described and with Julie's added touches. These included a small display of flowers and homemade cake and chocolate brownies. Very welcome after a long journey to this beautiful location. The Smithy has everything you want for a peaceful stay. It is decorated to a very high standard and has a beautifully made wooden staircase to the mezzanine bedroom. The garden of the main house, which has a small stream running through it, is beautiful with many mature shrubs and trees and at this time of the year Primroses and Bluebells. Guests are encouraged to use the seating area by the summer house near the stream. Julie and Graham are great to talk too and gave us very good advice about the local area. One thing was The Bell pub in Chittlehampton. We had a very good evening meal there and owners are lovely people. The Smithy is great for short break and we hope to return in the near future.

I honestly have one word to describe Rita and that is perfect. It was an amazing weekend away from work and responsibilities and Rita made us feel right at home. Not only was she always willing to help and carried a smile on her face but she helped us with recommendations on where to go for dinner and what to do during the day. Her hospitality could not have been better and we could not have had a better time there. We cannot wait to go back soon and do more things. It was the loveliest weekend thank you so much

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Josianne puts the BnB back into AirBnb. A fantastic host who strove to make me as comfortable as possible. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Wonderful cat, and great company. All round excellent value for money.

What a delightful old-fashioned B&B. Lovely, friendly hosts, comfortable room (it's old and quirky but that's clear when you book) and the cooked breakfast was simply delicious - made with care. You even get home-made marmalade and toast with your tea in china cups. The pond and ducks complete the scene. Thanks Rosemarie!

Lesley is superwoman! She keeps the place beautifully, its very tastefully decorated, she clearly cares and works hard to provide a great guest experience. I stayed in the single room at the b&b and it offered all I needed in a beautiful setting. It was peaceful and felt remote though it's perfectly close enough to all the local tourist attractions. I would highly recommend.

Our stay with Anne & Jonathan was perfect. They both made us feel very welcome and we loved exploring their farm. Anne is also a wonderful passionate cook, we were spoilt with her delicious home made food. Many fruits and veggies were grown on their land. The standard of the accommodation is also very high with a fine attention to detail and wonderful old furniture. The stay suited us perfectly and really look forward to staying again with them.
