We very much enjoyed staying at Red Sail and exploring the local area. The walk down to the harbour is very easy, only 10 minutes max, where you find great places to eat and traditional pubs. We had good communications with the owner who was very helpful on a small issue we had on arrival. We had a great time in Brixham.

This was a last minute addition to a holiday we already had booked, but we ended up wishing we'd spent the whole time here instead! Ade and Margaret are lovely people, very friendly and helpful. The home (and that is exactly what it feels like) is really well equipped with all the the essentials you could possibly want provided. This makes it so much easier for a couple like ourselves who travel by train (from Colchester...) - with our little Patterdale Terrier and a couple of backpacks - given so much is already to hand. Speaking of, the train station is less than 10 mins walk and there are cafes and takeaways just around the corner (though the road and area seems really nice and peaceful). If you have a dog, there is also a lovely park literally 40 yards or so from the front door (which Ade kindly drew our attention to). We loved our stay, and as mentioned, only wish we'd had longer to enjoy it there. Definitely hoping to return next time we're down that way!

A beautiful house, cosy and warm lots of character. Very clean, lovely kitchen and a selection of cheese and bread left for us on arrival. Lovely surroundings beautiful views from the balcony and living room. Two bathrooms and enough towels. You will need a car however very close drive to local shops and Paighton. Very friendly hosts recommended places for lunch. Would recommend a visit and we hope to return.

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

We live locally but needed a place to stay whilst having renovations done. Leanne was really helpful and supportive and the caravan was perfect for our stay. We felt like we were on holiday! Lovely little holiday park and I'm sure this would be a great stay for anyone looking for holiday.

The Dragon’s Nest is a great house in a central location in Brixham. Plenty of local amenities and recommendations from the host. The house is set over several floors so was ideal for us as a 3 generation family staying. Plenty of cutlery and crockery for children and a high chair available. Well stocked kitchen including salt/pepper/oil. Lynn was really quick to reply to any message I sent her, and kindly arranged early check in and late check out for us. She also kindly allowed us a shorter stay than they would otherwise have agreed to over the Easter holiday period. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you.

Great family Easter break, beautiful spacious house & good location. Easy to walk into Torquay and to the beach. Look forward to checking out their other properties soon.

Great property, as listed and described. Well equipped, spacious, clean and comfy. All appliances and wifi worked and connected easily. Convenient location to sea front.

Great communication from before I booked it as I had a few questions. Very accommodating with my requests and clear instructions. A home from home. A lovely welcome pack for when we arrived. Spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable beds. A lovely hot shower with some good power to it. Had absolutely everything we needed including toilet paper, washing up liquid and towels provided which is very rare in a caravan. Even had a coffee machine with a selection of different coffee pods. Lots to do on the site and access to the neighbouring site too. Also only a 10 minute drive to Torquay so plenty to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again. Kathryn’s place was a lovely peaceful place to stay, beautiful views of the sea and Kathryn was helpful whenever needed. The bed was very comfortable and the home was spotless with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beaches are nearby and the steam train is well worth a trip, you can see the train from the views from Kathryn’s garden. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay hope to be back soon.

Perfect location for Paignton beach, pier, train station, local parks. Spacious with lovely relaxing garden area.

A very comfortable apartment, with everything you need for a long stay. Super welcome pack. Delicious! Plenty of space and great views. Walking distance into Brixham. Ralph and Tanny were excellent hosts, very helpful and friendly, went above and beyond actually. Very responsive host. Definitely recommended.

This place is clean well organised and ideal for someone working away from home. Car park space a real bonus. owners were welcoming and really helpful.

Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Stunning house in a gorgeous village just a short train outside of Exeter. Ideal and comfortable for our group of 11 to sleep, eat, relax and then travel into the city for an event over the weekend. Richard was excellent throughout, communicated well and was exceptionally welcoming. The house is exceptionally well equipped and more than suitable for our needs. Highly recommended.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

We had a fantastic stay! It’s a big old house with tons of character and amazing wallpaper. Lots of space for the 7 of us to relax, eat together and enjoy the garden with lovely views at the top. It has everything you’d need for a homely, peaceful holiday.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.
