Manor House Cottage self catering rural location

Manor House Cottage is located in the small hamlet of Holme-On-Swale 7 miles from the market town of Thirsk which is known for its connection to James Herriott and within easy reach of North Yorkshires National Parks. Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

The Apple Shed @ Rose Cottage

The Apple Shed is a luxury stay in the heart of North Yorkshire, easy driving distance to Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate & York. We’ve recently (2021) renovated an apple store and stable in our garden into a beautiful space. You can spot the restored apple picking ladders and exposed bricks from the original building. Located in the heart of Dishforth Village it’s walking distance a village drinking pub and a five minute drive to the award winning Crab & Lobster restaurant and The Angel at Topcliffe.

Riverside Studio Apartment

This unique place has a style of its own adjacent to the River Tutt, based on the edge of a charming historic town in the heart of North Yorkshire within easy driving distance of the Dales, Harrogate & York. The choice of a vibrant high street with inviting cafes, shops, pubs, restaurants or beautiful walks across the fields or alongside the idyllic River Ure. Points of historic interest include the Devils Arrows standing stones, beautiful Churches & buildings dating back to the 17th century.

Spinney Cottage, Pateley Bridge

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

The Old Chapel: A luxury Hot Tub break

The Quaint Old Chapel is a quirky, detached historic conversion in rural Catton, Thirsk. Surrounded by stunning views, it offers endless walks, including a beautiful trail along the River Swale. Designed for pure relaxation, a luxury hot tub spa is fully included in the price. Perfect for pet lovers, the chapel features a rare, temperature-controlled dog wash to spoil your four-legged friend after a day of exploring. Includes private parking for two cars. A true North Yorkshire gem!

Lovely 1 bed Annex with large open-plan kitchen

Skipton House Annex has plenty of character, rural charm and is ideally located near the A1 in-between North York Moors and Dales. Set over two levels, the large open plan kitchen/dining room, shower/loo and entrance hallway are on the ground floor with a living/TV room and bedroom up the spiral staircase on the first floor. There are French doors that open up to access the courtyard. The loo/shower is located on the ground floor and courtyard is shared with main house.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

The End Place - A romantic hideaway for two

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.

Beautiful 3 bedroom rural barn conversion between the villages of Topcliffe and Catton. Sleeps 6 people. 1 x kingsize bedroom with en-suite. 1 x double bedroom. 1x twin bedroom. Large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Open planned living room with log burner and dining area. Utility room with washing machine and tumbler dryer. W/C Private large garden with patio area and dining set overlooking fields. Parking for two cars.

Springhill Studio, Brimham Rocks Yorkshire Dales

A unique and romantic larch-clad studio with stunning views over Nidderdale, just a mile from Brimham Rocks. Once jeweller Alice Clarke’s creative space, it now offers a peaceful, stylish retreat with a hanging log burner and on-site parking. Set above our other Airbnb, Cosy Cottage, both spaces run on renewable energy. We’re excited to share this special place with those seeking a tranquil escape in the heart of Yorkshire.
