Charming mountain house with big yard and plenty to keep kids busy. Spacious inside with plenty of space and beds. Providing linens, paper products, dishwasher tabs, trash bags is a nice touch and super convenient. Short walk to club house and amenities. Very responsive host.

My husband and I had a great weekend celebrating our anniversary. The house was very clean and was just as described. The hot tub was great. Yard was private and relaxing. Just what we needed. Close to Bushkill falls which was beautiful.

The cabin is adorable, cozy, and gives the rustic, mountain feel. It is in walking distance to the lake and restaurants. Wildlife is plentiful, as the deer come frequently and look at you when you talk to them, and I even got to see one of the resident bears. The cabin is well stocked with kitchen wear, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and coffee additives.. I would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here we would love to repeat Matt and Colleen were really responsive and we loved how we could stay there and feel like we were at home plus it was super clean the hot tub 5 star and it was a relaxing place the beds super comfy everything was great we would definitely coming back it’s a 5 star stay ❤️

Our 4th stay at Lyle’s and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The location is ideal and the fenced in yard is perfect for our dog and kids. We always feel right at home here and Lyle is the best host! He’s responsive, kind and proactive. Love that the location is away from the main strip of Jim Thorpe but still so close to everything. We’ll be back again (and again and again)!

Fantastic stay!! Home is unique and spacious. Great common areas but the layout of the house also allows for some privacy if someone wants to go to bed early, nap etc. which was ideal for our family. Outdoor space is beautiful! lots of wildlife to admire. Fishing ponds were the highlight of my 15yr olds stay. He caught perch, brook trout, brown trout and rainbows! We all had a blast and can’t wait to go back! Did a few day excursions to Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run and a few other stops, all a quick trip from ‘home’! Gary was attentive and extremely welcoming! Great host!

I'll be honest, I don't really write reviews. This house is my exception. This property exceeded every expectation my family and I had for our vacation. The property was accurately described with every amenity imaginable! Additionally, the extra touches on the property made our stay comfortable and really memorable. We had never been to the Poconos before, and this property elevated our experiences. We plan to return and hopefully stay in this home again. Finally, Penpa's communication was second to none. Every step of the trip the host provided detailed instructions, quick support with any questions, and reasonable flexibility with requests that made their property the best experience my wife or I have ever had with Airbnb in the 13 years we've used the service. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful experience. Your home is something special, and the way you run your property is exceptional. We really appreciated it.

Amazing surroundings and lake view, house comfortable accommodated my huge family of 16. Has everything, all utensils mentioned. We had multiple sightings of deers right on our backyard which was awesome for the kids. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The host and her husband were extremely responsive and helpful. During our 4 day stay we did not have any issues. Amazing family memories made. Thank you!

We had a great stay here. The home felt cozy and spacious for a large family. The home was also very clean and free of clutter. Great space for families with kids. The jacuzzi was great touch, specially on the cooler mornings. Would book again, strongly recommended!

Our group could not have been more impressed! This was one of our top experiences! Melissa was always very quick to answer questions. They have a FAQ video that was SUPER helpful. The house was perfect! The large dining table and chairs was one of the big selling points! You don't find many houses that can accommodate 17 people at one time. We loved their attention to detail by labeling where everything was in the kitchen! Even the bedrooms had name tags on them. They had QR codes you could scan in case you needed to know how to use the heating, ac, or hot tub. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious! They even included a laundry kit for us. The multiple decks allowed our large group to enjoy the back yard together. We spent hours in the game room. The kitchen included everything we needed! The 2 full size refrigerators was a big PLUS! The cost was VERY reasonable! They really seem to care about their guests and seem to have thought of everything! We will return!

The space was as described and pictured! The adults and children enjoyed the open concept, game room, and outdoor space.

This place is a 10/10. It had so much fun stuff to do in the house that we didn’t even need to leave! I definitely want to book again in the summer so we can enjoy the hammock and the fire pit, unfortunately it was raining and snowed. But it was still a blast! I loved it!

Our family loved staying at Elyse's home! The big kids had a blast playing the games in the basement while the grown-ups enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Elyse went out of her way to ensure the driveway and walkways were salted as there was a lot of ice. She was a wonderful host and we would definitely return!

She also recommended local places, sent us events going on during our stay, and told us their favorite things to do in the community which was great and helped us decide what to prioritize during our weekend trip! Had a wonderful time at Erica’s mountain house. House was so cozy and everything was just as pictured. Erica was flexible about check out time which was so helpful not feeling rushed on our last day. We loved the fire place and sunroom. It was a snowy weekend and we still had a great time.

Was a great stay! Nice location private but not way out of the way that couldn’t reach local attractions easily. Very clean and comfortable accommodations - very well stocked with most basics you would need. The pups loved the yard!

I had the most wonderful experience. From the moment me and my family arrived, we were blown away by how impeccably clean the entire space was. Everything was spotless, from the floors to the bathroom, the beds were extremely comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. The area is so peaceful, my dog had a ball being able to enjoy open space. The host was absolutely amazing, super friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. Communication was seamless, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I have already recommended this place to my friends and other family members, and I’ll definitely be back! 5 stars all the way!

Perfect place for us—2 retired’s, 2 of our grown children, their spouses, a grandbaby and 2 dogs! Plenty of room, great kitchen and dr table to accommodate all. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs; the rest of property frequented by many deer which was fun to view. Screened porch great plus. Much fun in game room. Big screen TV’s great for our sports viewing. Great neighborhood for walking. The mattress in mbr too firm for one of us but the other liked. Elyse very responsive to any inquiry though hardly necessary. Every need thoughtfully anticipated. Great host. Even left welcome tray of goodies and fire starters. We liked every restaurant we tried nearby—Forks, Butter, PourHouse, Taproom @Skytop—and great grocery store down the street. Beautiful home, great area, and would definitely stay here again.

It was a quaint stay peaceful I got some really good rest. Enjoyed the scenery see a ton of deer along my weekend stay and in the area. Definitely worth it. Extremely clean, pristine on cleanliness. Had an issue with the shower, but it was because I had no idea how to use it. The owner contacted me let me know exactly how to use it. Definitely responsive and extremely sweet. Thank you Andrea
