We were visiting Tennessee to explore between Chattanooga and Nashville, it was a great little cabin in a beautiful setting. This is a location for those who want peace and quiet with options nearby for taking in natural beauty. The game room is perfect for a getaway with friends or a family. The welcome book provided is super helpful and we visited a few of the suggested spots and they were awesome.

Our family of 5 loved this get away! This home was tucked away in the woods with quick access to the lake for fishing. Spending time on the screened in patio was amazing with the hot tub and fireplaces 🥰

This mountain retreat is the perfect place to go with friends or family. You have areas to gather together and spend time by the fire or grilling and have an amazing view of the mountains, while still having your privacy. Each unit has its own bathroom and different sleeping arrangements. It is so magical and serene, the pictures do not do it justice.

Everything was absolutely stunning, every morning was breathtaking. Learning about his place made me appreciate it more. Everything was so accommodating an so relaxing nice and quiet and very private. I will be returning in June. Thank you Austin. -Amber

Rustic cabin in the woods. This is the place to be off the grid, with a taste for exploration. Even though we were there for our own planned vacation, the places we found surrounding the area were just as fantastic! Definitely one of the better places to stay if you plan on visiting the area. So much to offer at the property!

The stay was completely amazing. I was there for 52 days and it truly felt like I was home everyday. Dale and Ginney are fantastic people. They gave me plenty of space to get settled in and they were always there when I needed anything. I gained more than just hostess and friends when I was there. I truly gained family. I loved living with them and getting to know them. To be out of town and able to completely trust the place I was at is such a great peace of mind. If I'm ever in the area again I know I have an amazing place to stay. I am 100% satisfied with my choice to stay with them. You will be too.

The cabin was just as advertised. The Broken Banjo campground is clean, very walkable, and has showers and restrooms within short distance of the cabins. The bathroom at Cabins 5 and 6 share a bathroom which is nice, because only two cabins share the restroom, though a few RVers wandered in them every once in a while. The park is right off the highway, so not totally serene or peaceful, but the further into the park, the quieter it became. There’s a play area for kids, dogs and adults too! It was nice that there’s a Starbucks down the street and other restaurants and retail shops like Walmart in case you need to pick something up. We arrived very late, around 10pm and our envelope with instructions awaited us. Easy check in process, even though our messages on AirBnB app weren’t answered, it’s all good. We love the decor and overall retro theme, thanks for having us!! Would definitely return!

We had a great stay!! The place is easy to find and feels very quiet and peaceful in nature, I wish we could've stayed a whole week. There are other houses in the area but they are not too close so you have space and it still feels private (just not 100% "in the middle of nowhere" private - we were also here in the winter with no leaves on the trees inbetween). As others mentioned, the stairs going up to the bathroom/bedrooms is more like a ladder so important to keep in mind if you have mobility issues, but we had no problem navigating them. Our dog stayed downstairs and had tons of fun running around outside. There's also some fantastic hikes in the area!! Can't wait to come back again when the weather is warmer to take full advantage of the dock/lake. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

We stayed in one of the cabins and oh my goodness This was one of the cutest RV places ever! Cabins came with hot showers, and a cute functional kitchen with cooking materials also a fire pit and grill. The grounds were beautiful at this time of the year (and I’m sure year round) with lots of activities to do like a basketball court hiking trail, giant chess and other amenities! 10 of 10 would recommend and come again!

Great stay for the night!

3 Bedrooms plus loft beds and 3 baths made this a great weekend stay for 3 couples and a single. the walk way outside is uneven rock and the stairs inside were larger spaced steps.

Susan's cabin is so beautiful . . . in the middle of everything but still peaceful. Well-appointed and exactly what you need for the perfect weekend in Sewanee.

Honestly, the cabin was even better than we expected! Clean, cozy, and with all the creature comforts plus a great river view from the deck, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Emily made the checkin and out process so simple, and was so communicative throughout. Highly recommend!

Such a darling cabin! It was perfect for our stay and 10 min door to door to University of the South. There were so many nice touches @ the cabin - snacks in kitchen, coffee stocked, great bathroom amenities, comfortable bed, etc! We loved it and will be back. Thank you, Amy!

We had an amazing stay. Loved the sliding doors and porch overlooking the river! The cabin had everything we needed and was the perfect place to unwind. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

If you are looking for a peaceful stay on the river within 15 minutes of Lynchburg this is your spot. Emily and Blake have thought of every detail for a relaxing getaway. We even walked into a happy anniversary sign hanging on the wall. Emily was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!
