This house is amazing! It's a little in the middle of nowhere, but close to a little grocery store, and not far from Lake Morena, which is a great place to go boating. We also used it as a base from which to go to Julian to enjoy apple picking and fall activities. The house itself is huge and so comfortable! Four bedrooms, a huge living room and family room, a dining room, a giant eat-in kitchen, a huge master bath with a whirlpool tub. The kids enjoyed the chess board table. And Cindy was really nice when our dog left a surprise on one of the bedroom rugs and we didn't notice it before we left (oops). But the best thing is the grounds. There's a wonderful hot tub, not one but two fire pits, and a very friendly horse, Splash, who let us pet and feed her. We even played cornhole in the front yard. We met Cindy and she couldn't have been friendlier. I'd definitely recommend this house to any large group coming to the area!

Maxim is a great host and went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of. I have never felt like a AirBnB host cared as much as they did. The house was well thought out, very accommodating and very comfortable. I could not have been happier with my stay and if given the opportunity, would come again without hesitation.

The place was perfect for our family which included a 22 month old. The hosts thought of everything one could need! Used the stroller everyday to walk to the beach boardwalk just down the walkway and to Bay boardwalk just across the street. Super clean, comfortable and one of the top AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. Highly recommend!!

I've rented on the in mission Beach south multiple times. On the walkway facing the ocean. However, this place takes the cake no doubt. The place has all the amenities listed, Doug / Shawn care about this property and it shows. They have everything you can think of and more. A sewing kit was in the house. Who thinks about the unthinkable? These fine gentlemen do. Plus, this place comes with a garage (very rare) in South Mission Beach. Doug has won our business for life. The attention to detail, the friendly follow-ups, and always seeking ways to improve. Mission Beach is special but Doug and his family made it memorable. Thank you for all you've done! Really cute mid-century modern home in a very convenient part of town for seeing sites across the area. Very close to SDSU, but also close to downtown and easy access to several freeways. The house itself is nicely decorated, in a fun mid-mo style. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything we needed, and stocked in a way that is well organized. The house backs up to a steep cliff and is on a cul-de-sac, so the back yard and the house itself is pretty quiet, despite being in a college-adjacent neighborhood. We had a nice relaxing stay. Recommended - Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful find!! 11 Adults & 4 Kids visited this house early Apr 2025. We were there to catch the MLS GAME SDFC vs SEATTLE. SnapDragon Stadium is 12 mins away with traffic. Costco and shopping center in down the street from that. Home is in a perfect location. 4 Clean Bedrooms with big Beds and extra Blankets. Plenty of Towels. Great Kitchen with a Great Refrigerator. We manage to fit 3 Cars in the Driveway and 1 SUV parked in front of the house. plenty of space for cars. Games for the kids n Family. Pool table downstairs is fun. Patio Views were amazing. Highly recommended to all that are thinking of Booking. if I could give 10 Stars, I Would.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute, comfortable and cozy, Airbnb. We loved the location, and really enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the park on Mission Bay, and the beach and restaurants were a short walk away as well. Additionally, the king size bed was comfortable, and we really appreciated the electric fireplace on chili mornings and nights. One thing to note, if you have mold and chemical sensitivities, like I do, you may be bothered by the cleaning products and a slight mildew smell. Most people would likely not even notice it, but I am very sensitive. Rex was so nice and accommodating and purchased an air purifier at my request from Home Depot that helped me sleep, and we were able to open up the windows and get a nice cross-breeze when we were awake. All in all, a wonderful location, and comfortable and cozy spot!

Anyone who stays at Kim’s home will quickly notice how much she loves this place and how much care she puts into creating such a cozy space for her guests. According to my friend who stayed with me, this house felt like “Home Depot — if you need something, just look around and you’ll probably find it here, if not, Kim will find it for you”

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

I was there primarily to escape the noise from construction at my home. The quality bed and pillows plus the quiet suited my needs perfectly. I tripped the circuit breaker late at night and I was promptly told where the breaker box was located.
