Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

The area is rural and quiet. The property is not fully fenced in. SORRY NO CATS Dog Friendly - Dog should be house trained, no fleas, and up to date on all vacations. We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

We are only 31 minutes away from Garden of the Gods located in the Shawnee National Forrest as well as Giant City State Park. Also only 25 minutes away from beautiful Rend Lake -and we have space to park your boat! ...or you can just sit out in the back yard and relax.

The Sunshine Guest House is a bright and welcoming home with an easy to find location right outside of Mcleansboro, (6 miles from Big Red Barn& 9 miles from I64) Wi-fi is available throughout our spacious 4 bedroom and 2 baths. Our house can accommodate up to 9 people. It also includes a large deck for outside entertaining with a charcoal grill, yard games, kids toys and stocked pond.
