The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Susan's cabin! We appreciated the beautiful and private setting, found it clean, and enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and corn hole. We're planning on returning in the future! Thanks for hosting us!

My spouse and I stayed the night at the Creekside Cottage it was perfect for us the kitchen was clean and perfect open concept we kayaked, made a fire, roasted marshmallows, then went in and ended the evening with unsolved mysteries we look forward to staying again soon this is our New go to spot for our PA trips. Host was responsive house was very clean and comfortable, more than enough room for a couple or family. It was close to shopping and we had Cracker Barrel for dinner which I highly recommend.

What an amazing stay! Karen took care of us so well ahead of time that our stay was flawless! Easy check-in, beautiful home, LOTS to do without even leaving the building, and something for everyone! Very spacious and clean, and no doubt we’ll be back! I highly recommend this place if ever you visit Hershey or the Hummelstown area! Can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was! There are no words to describe the peace and tranquility of this home. My family, including our dog, enjoyed Mark's home and VAST property. The ladies (cows), were so playful; I didn'tknow they were such playful animals. My heart broke leaving them. I had trouble deciding where to spend my time because there were so many spots to choose from; all peaceful. If you are a lover of books; there are MANY to choose from. I always say that i won't ever go back to the same place twice but I will absolutely revisit in the future if Mark will have us again. Mark, your attention to detail was noticed and appreciated. Thank you.

This place fit perfectly for us over a busy weekend attending the PIAA Championship. Great kitchen, great bedrooms, useful utilities and modern amenities. The hosts were proactive and helpful. Highly recommend!

this little cottage was the perfect place to enjoy being together as a couple! We enjoyed how private it felt and everything was neat and clean when we got there! No complaints.

This was our 2nd stay at this house and we plan to return. The surroundings and property are peaceful and comfortable. There is plenty to do with the game room, TVs and fire pit. Several upgrades were made from our last visit including a new top floor bathroom remodel and a new living room sectional that was so comfortable after days of hiking. The kitchen is well appointed and blankets and towels are plentiful. This was the perfect getaway spot for our group and dogs.
