Access your private bathroom inside the main house through the doorway closest to the snug . At night you may be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves. You might see beaver who swim by under the willows at dawn and dusk and stop to nibble on the willow leaves, raccoon or deer. Bald headed and golden eagles nest above hiking trails in the pine forest steps away.

Enjoy the feeling of backwoods seclusion in our cozy, rustic mountain cabin. Only a 500m walk from the farmhouse, this private cabin is nestled at the edge of the forest overlooking the fields of the Canoe Valley. It backs onto the Rocky Mountains and has views of the Monashee and Caribou Mountain ranges. This is a walk-in cabin, so you will need to be prepared to carry what you need in. Kitchen supplies and bedding are provided. There is no running water and the bathroom is a pit toilet.

The property is 20 minutes from Sun Peaks and 35 minutes from Kamloops. We are surrounded by hiking trails, lakes, and lots of outdoor activities. The property is lakefront, and guests have access to a small non-motor lake where they can enjoy the dock, paddle or swim. Dogs are welcome. Our dog Zenji lives here.

We are on the quiet side of the lake and this is the only rental on the property. We live here year-round.
