The boardwalk Malecón is wonderful to relax, watch at the old cars passing by, enjoy the ocean, its sound and view, and the sunsets in the evenings!
The famous boardwalk Malecón ist just 120 meters (about 400 feet) away from your place, you may look from the balcony on the Malecón. There you may watch great sunsets or just enjoy the old Cuban cars passing by. There are also good restaurants and cafés nearby. Enjoy it!
Or if you have children and there is strong wind from the sea (but of course not in times of a storm or a hurrican), you may enjoy the waves hitting the wall of the Malecon and spilling over it in some parts, or at least creating splash and drizzle refreshing you. My son loved it!!!

You can go to the hotel Inglaterra which is about 8 minutes walking distance from our apartment and enjoy life music, as you may do in the center of Old Havana, the street Obispo. From a lot of bars and restaurants you have good Cuban music!
