The North Carolina Arboretum

The Arboretum is AVL’s botanic garden and it’s surrounded by a great trail network at Bent Creek. Winter Lights is well worth the trip if you’re here around the holidays.

Check out “Winter Lights” during the Christmas holidays, it is worth a visit. Buy your ticket early because they sell out fast.

There is something unique to be seen at the Arboretum no matter the season! my favorite? the bonsai exhibit.
