Wellcome hosts a number of exhibitions that explore the link between medicine and art throughout the ages. It has an amazing permanent collection of oddities on the first floor with extraordinary pieces: diagnostic dolls, Napoleon’s toothbrush, George III’s hair, erotic toys from 18th century Asia and Europe. Alongside its permanent collection, the museum has a library with a large collection of documents and objects, including more than 250,000 works of art showing the history and progression of medicine. Both the museum and library are free and open to the public.

If you're curious about medicine and all things medical. Exhibitions on at the moment are Smoke and Mirrors: The Psychology of Magic (until 15th Sept) and Misbehaving Bodies (running until Jan)
Free museum and library which almost always has an interesting temporary exhibition.
Always an interesting take on educating the public about health matters. Past exhibitions I've enjoyed and learned a lot from include Dirt; Death; High Society (opiate drugs) to name but a few. Free entry to temporary exhibitions and the permanent collection.

“This building near King’s Cross is an amazing blend of modern architecture and ancient leather-bound tomes. It’s really pleasant to sit and use their fast wifi or have a meeting in the cafe or public area while gazing up at the King’s Library—65,000 volumes assembled by George III and displayed in a striking glass column. For the comfiest spot, look for the padded leather armchairs with coveted built-in electrical outlets. You’ll have to join the queue of regulars that forms before the library opens in order to nab one.”
