Just around the corner and an institution. It exists since 1788 and is one of the most successful theaters in the German speaking countries. Even Ferdinand Raimund, Johann Nestroy and Josef Strauss used to play here. Famous director Max Reinhardt had it renovated in 1924 and it still looks like this…

A small, but excellent theatre. Usually you can buy very cheap left over tickets right before the performance, also cheap student tickets are available.
