Deep relations to famous Ise shrine History back goes to 875. It takes only 15 minutes on foot. この地が伊勢神宮領伊良湖御厨であったことから、神宮を深い関わりを持っていました。御衣祭で有名、貞観17年（875）にまでさかのぼります。
