Take a tour of the historic Hyde Park home once inhabited by Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Run by the National Park Service, a park ranger will guide you through the property of the former president. A $20 entrance fee will also grant you entry to the Presidential Museum and Library.

“Home to Samuel F.B.Morse, inventor and artist, Locust Grove sits above the Hudson River off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. In addition to the gallery and house, there are miles of trails. Locust Grove is about 9 miles from the Inn.”

“Make reservations for lunch or dinner at one of the school's restaurants for a truly memorable experience, or stop by the Apple Pie Bakery & Cafe for a more casual setting. Check out the bookstore for great kitchenware and cookbooks. Snap some photos of the Hudson River from the expansive main courtyard!”
