A very popular pub on the edge of Saltaire village. Always lively and is a favourite haunt of many locals. It features a good stock of ever changing ale, great staff, an open fireplace and a juke box.

No Saltaire guidebook should exclude Fanny’s Ale House, as no matter what you think about the current beer or gin selection it’s a Saltaire institution. Sir Titus Salt famously excluded pubs from his model village and residents were forbidden from indulging in the evil nectar, and so Fanny’s (named after one of his daughters) was never part of the original Saltaire plan. Ironically at home in a former police station this place is a must go to. The open fire and ‘proper boozer’ feel gives the perfect setting to while away an afternoon or evening.
