Outdoor markets open Tues, Thurs and Sat. It isn't huge but it has everything you need and the surrounding shops such at the Butchers, Cheese shop etc are great and open every day.

There is a great fresh fruit/vegetables, but also meat and cheese market Place Maubert, a 3 minutes walk, on Tuesday-Friday 7:00 – 14:30 Saturday-Sunday 7:00 – 13:30

One of the nicest for actual food shopping. Cheese shop Laurent Dubois on the square is the best I know.
