The station is a popular location. It has been featured as Bane’s courthouse in The Dark Knight Rises, the police station in Blade Runner, and a bank in Catch Me If You Can. What's really amazing to see is the massive waiting room with its polished wooden seating and terra-cotta floors accented with travertine marble strips. Down the street, the deli Philippe the Original has been in operation since 1908, which makes it even older than the station. They make the world's finest French dip sandwiches.

If you can'tTransportation hub for all commuter trains and most bus lines.get there from Union Station, you probably shouldn't be going! 😉

Take the Goldline to the Union Station stop. From here you can take the Flyaway bus to LAX (a $10 ride), catch an Amtrak train, or exit the station and go across the street to explore historic Olvera Street - known as the birthplace of Los Angeles.

Union station is the hub for all things travel- bus, train, shuttles, etc. There's a great shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes direct to LAX too called The Flyaway.
