Walking distance, and great place to catch a first run movie. They also broadcast "Live from the Met" operas during opera season.
Great movie theatre that usually has a few indie selections, in addition to the blockbusters. Just a short walk down the street. (Currently closed due to Covid, but check back!)
$5.00 movies. Cheapest in town. Park in the parking garage down the block. Get parking receipt validated at theater. Near Tucanos and other eateries downtown. Be care in the evenings.
Great Downtown movie theater first run and Cinearts art films! If you want to walk, its 15 minutes, free parking in the Gold Parking Structure and the bus is 5 minutes and a 1 minute walk to station.

“This zoo is HUGE! I admire it because many of the animals that they take in are rescues and need help. There is a cute zoo train that takes you for a tour inside, BUT there is also a larger train that takes you along the Rio Grande River to the Aquarium and Botanic Gardens! If you plan to tour all 3 places, be sure to plan for at least 5 hours. All of BioParks are rather large.”

“A cute little cafe on Gold Street with traditional breakfast, some New Mexican food favorites, and a full coffee bar. On the weekends, try the green chile eggs benedict.”

“Best patio. Best neighborhood pub. This is my favorite place to drink a beer in Albuquerque. The owners are so incredibly thoughtful in everything they do -- from design to food truck curation to the best patio misters in the summer. Don't miss this spot! ”
