This is one of our personal favorites. This botanical garden is good to visit during all seasons. In springtime you can enjoy the cherry blossom trees, in summer the expansive rose garden, and in fall the beautiful changing leaves. They have a whole indoor room just full of bonsai trees!
We love wondering through the Botanic Gardens and if you are visiting Brooklyn in the spring, we highly recommend a visit. The Cherry Tree walk is spectacular during its peak bloom in April. And if you are here in May, the Peonies and lilacs are incredible. During Covid, advance tickets are required…
Brooklyn’s main botanic garden; a stunning 52 acre garden founded in 1910. It is adjacent to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum. Makes for a lovely afternoon! There is an admission charge.
One of the best botanical garden I have visited. It has the ability to transport you through the desert, tropics, and even to Asia. It arrives on Fridays 8am until noon which is free.
It’s beautiful for a walk. Or in enjoy a delicious weekend Brunch in a delightful garden atmosphere.
Beautiful place to visit, a must see, lots of beautiful flowers and plants. There is a Japanes coi pond there also and you could feed the fish. Also a restaurant where you could have lunch.

Парк
“Walking the loop around Prospect Park is like walking around the world. On the weekends the park is teaming with music and festivities from so many different cultures. It has been referred to as "Brooklyn's Backyard" If you start at Grand Army Plaza and are here on a Saturday there is a great farmers market. The entire loop is just under 3.5 miles with a hill at the end. But you can easily cut through the park at different points and there is an inner loop around the long meadow that is a lovely walk. There are restrooms at the bandshell, picnic house and Lefrak Center. During the summer Lefrak is an outdoor roller rink and in winter, an ice skating rink. If you want to get a feel for how Brooklynites spend their free time, visiting Prospect Park is a must!”
