If you're looking to have a relaxing afternoon, I highly recommend strolling down to the Camperdown Rest Park. Bring a picnic, your dog, or just a beer to people and dog watch and lie in the park for a cruisey afternoon.
Commonly and locally known as Camperdown Dog Park many locals spend their evenings or weekends picnicking with their dogs. If you love dogs of all shapes and sizes it's a very social park and next to the historic St Stephens Church also worth a visit.
Bring a picnic and sit and people-watch the locals. You will be visited by many dogs.
Tranquil public park offering open green spaces, shaded playgrounds & an off-leash dog area.

“The closest train station. Trains are frequently heading straight to the City, and take only 5-10 mins. Make sure you have an Opal card, from the convenience store just back on the main street to the left (East) of the station. Fares are around $2-2.5 one way.”

“Excellent venue for live bands and theatre. The Enmore Theatre was built in 1908 and is located in Enmore surrounded by a diverse selection of restaurants, bars and cafes.”

“If you don't want to queue outside this burger bar that's more popular than a pop-up puppy party catered by Messina, timing is everything. Get in early for any chance at a table, or wait until the dinner rush has worn off – well after 9pm, but there are still no guarantees. Territory is hard won here so barricade yourself in with baskets of fried chicken and bottles of natural wine (ask for the list from behind the bar) once you get a seat.”
