Olympia House is a quirky mix of antiques centre, tearooms and local crafts rolled into one. I always leave with something.. be it a desk lamp, 12" vinyl or some sunglasses that went out of fashion in 1985!

This building houses a gorgeous antiques shop on two floors (as well as outside). And nestled in the back is a really lovely little tea room which is perfect for breakfasts, lunches and tea and cake. They do a cake 'tapas' (which is really just 6 full-sized portions of cake!) - a big hit with my husband. Their selection of loose-leaf teas is really good and some unusual ones in there. The Early Grey is one of my favourites and my favourite lunch item is the Derbyshire Oatcake with tuna and cheese. Oatcakes are a local speciality and must be tried while in the area!

This is a wonderful building - jammed packed full with all kinds of everything - from vintage to modern. Also there is a tea/coffee area at the back. You can easily spend a couple of hours in this place!
