A unique Cretan traditional tavern opened in the street Episkopi - Argiroupoli.There, George Vranakis rebuilt the home of his ancestors respecting each traditional character and turned it in a taverna with foods that have emerged from the old traditional recipes of the area called Arkoudaina Arkoudaina name has its roots in antiquity from the sanctuary of the goddess Artemis, who was worshiped with special honors and sacrifices in the area of the noble. In honor of Artemis people gave the name "Arkoudaina", because of the ancient Bear (Bear), which was the sacred and protected animal of the goddess. One of the best tavernas around here, the ‘Garden of Arkoudenas’ turns superb organic produce into gorgeous dishes, many of them prepared in the wood oven.
