Five Stags is a bar and restaurant which has been designed to look after the local market with great food, beverages and service. Based on a hunting lodge theme, it takes in all the fine elements of New Zealand's rugged countryside in a modern comfortable setting.

Great NZ Hunting themed lounge area, soft seating, big fireplace, relaxed. Small restaurant on one side of bar. Lots of wild foods to eat. eg: venison, duck, wild pork, other seasonal foods.

If you want a good big meal and live music (sometimes) and a happy noisy atmosphere, then Five Stags is for you.

The Five Stags bar and restaurant. Our favorite local. Excellent food and great kids meals. A vegetarian's nightmare.
