This is a very English-friendly shop, with lots of international customers and even a couple of native English-speaking employees. There are over a hundred types of sake to choose from, and the staff are very helpful in making a selection. If you find something you like—and you almost certainly will—you can take a bottle home with you. This is one of the very few places in Japan where you can get a large selection of koshu, or aged sake. Not even Japanese people know much about it. I’ve served koshu at my own bar, and I think it was extremely well-received. I’d definitely recommend it as a way to experience the diversity that sake has to offer.
