This apartment is located on the second floor and is one of three Airbnbs offered. The main room is spacious with a luxurious queen bed, dining table/chairs and a 55” smart tv. The kitchen is nicely equipped for meal prep or a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa. The pantry is nicely furnished. Our garden is open for enjoyment with lodge pole rocking chairs, fire pit and table for outdoor dining. This is an unusual experience for most people because it’s off grid. We provide a power station for lights and charging electronics. Propane for INDOOR HEATER, cooking stove , and fire pit. We love dogs! Please be sure to add them when booking so I can have water bowl filled upon their arrival. Please never leave dog unattended.

We welcome you to enjoy our newly built peaceful home overlooking the Columbia Gorge. The patio provides a beautiful daytime view of the Columbia Gorge and mountains as well as a twinkling nighttime view of the city. This slice of heaven is located in The Gorge near restaurants, breweries, hiking, fishing, rafting, and kiteboarding. 5 minutes to everything in town. All one level with easy access to showers. Please note that there is a steep driveway to get to our street.

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

Our 1920s cabin is nestled in the woods along the White Salmon River. 4 people max and be sure to read details about sleeping arrangements. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full bed are upstairs in each bedroom, and one full size couch is downstairs). A couple with 1-2 kids can easily work too. What doesn’t work are 4 adults who need to sleep separately - that means doubling up in one of the beds. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.
